We took our own supplies. Every appliance we could have wanted was there for us to use. The birdlife that came to our balcony was exceptional. The fireplace made the cabin warm and cosy. Close to heaps of nearby attractions.

The kitchen cupboards could be updated, and I couldn’t get the oven started, but that was fine, I just cooked my food on the stove top instead.

The cottage is rustic, that is, on the older side, but it is large and has a spectacular view! It is also surrounded by beautiful bush. It is beautifully decorated with lots of charming and quirky things. I loved the fire place, and I lit a fire each night as it was quite cold. There was also air conditioning in the main living area and a bar heater in the bedroom. There are crimson rosellas and other birds, and wallabies, I’m sure there is lots more wildlife I just didn’t get to see,

Well fenced off yard for our dog to run around in, a fireplace with ample kindling and wood (which had already been set up for us to light, which was a nice touch), bird seed for us to feed the native birds and an outdoor spa with a gorgeous view. Turn all the lights off at night for absolutely no light pollution - pretty nice change from the CBD!

The supplied pantry provisions were non-existent. It did advertise the property as having a kitchen. There wasn't even oil, basic spices, butter (or even butter sachets), 2 coffee pods for the machine (2 people for 2 nights)

The cottage was clean, good size, brilliant views, totally surrounded by nature. Warm with the fire going on arrival and plenty of fire wood.

Location and scenery... a perfect blend of beach meet the forest... very peaceful and ideal if you want to bring your dogs along. Also loved our interactions with the host who were simply wonderful. Will be back for sure.

Beds a bit lumpy, not enough pillows. Not enough instructions oh how to leave the property, or how to feed birds or what can be used in the spa.

One of the beds was too firm, especially for 2 people. The other has a topper which made it great.

Ideal cottage in a beautiful secluded spot in The Otways. Firewood provided for the coonara wood heater, plus reverse cycle air conditioning. Views from the balcony are amazing!

We lost hot water on our last night and did not get to enjoy the spa for the last time.

The views are breath taking. We enjoyed the walking paths on the property and spotted a couple of koalas. The spa was incredibly relaxing.
