Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaStraight across the road from what turned out to be a very busy and noisy police station, with very little noise reduction in the room. P.S. definitely didn't see a harbour view.
Close to shops, transport and city centre

CanadaThe Wifi signal was not good at all. We had to be near the door to the room to pick up a signal at all, which meant sitting on a chair beside the door to do anything at all requiring Wifi. Once you walk into the room the signal dropped off completely. The lighting was not sufficient for what we needed, even just for reading.
The room was adequate for our needs. It would have been plenty for an individual traveller, but a little cramped for two of us. The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette met our needs. It was very well located near a train station in the center of town.

AustraliaIt is well located. Plenty of space and light. Everything worked and you could open windows and doors to let in fresh air. Great water pressure and a well equipped kitchen. I was surprised by the size and layout, very comfortable.

AustraliaMessy ground floor entrance to apartments and lift. Hallways on level 8 need new carpet and repainting. I had to ask for the hallway outside my room to be vacuumed, as it had been dirty for 2 days. There was a constant cooking smell, also in the hallways. The furniture in the unit needs updating. Hopefully, the change in management will rectify these issues.
Great location for Skybus to and from airports, very clean, roomy except for tiny bedroom, good cooking facilities, quiet overnight and helpful staff.

New ZealandUnfortunately, my friend who I purchased a two night stay for, contracted bed bugs there on the first night . She alerted the staff and they upgraded her to another room… but sadly the damage was done and it rather ruined the weekend.
Good location, easy access to apartment building and parking, accommodating staff and the room appeared clean.

AustraliaWas definitely a building where people lived. That's fine, but I did feel a little conspicuous intruding, although I didn't see anyone.
It was in many ways basic, but everything I needed and more. I have stayed at other hotels in the area for a similar price that had holes in the ceiling and flickering lamps - this place was affordable but perfect! Small, but there was a little kitchen area that I included not only a fridge and kettle, but also a stove! There was a double bed, but also a single bed that could be closed off into its own little private room. Also, very actually quiet, and a nice short walk to the SkyBus terminal.

AustraliaThe place was pretty basic and a bit run down which doesn't bother me normally but was nothing at all like the pictures on booking.com - so was very disappointed. Had booked thinking we'd have a view like the pictures showed but out the window we could see straight into another building which was a TAFE/uni. Oh and there were two cockroaches - yuk!
The place was ok, we were only staying for one night so it did the trick. Lots of room for a family to stay, kitchen with cooking facilities, bath/shub, dining table Supermarket was a short walk away which was handy. Short walk to Flagstaff Train Station

ThailandThe size and position of an air conditioner is weird. It cannot blow the two bedrooms properly. Rice cooker in the kitchen should be great addition. Wifi is quite bad. Reception opening hour should be longer.
The location is strategic, very close to Southern Cross Station and connected to key attractions by free tram. The room is well-partitioned. There is a desk for working. Staffs are friendly and supportive. We were allowed to check in early.

Singapore1. Could not get wifi throughtout 4 nights' stay?!! Somehow network presence only showed when at reception but not in room. Reflected problem n was told IT would get in touch but no one did, nor after 2nd feedback. 2.Shower door is thin n filmsy yet can get stuck so needs some firm tugging to open. Seemed somewhat precarious. Afraid it might shatter. 3. Not 'green'? Daily changing/adding of towels even though had informed front desk no need. Had a nice pile up of clean towels which i placed in wardrobe. 4.No provision card to hang out to request no disturbance or otherwise.
1. Abt 5 mins to Southern Cross Station n Skybus n Coles supermart. Just simply walkable all around. 2. Microwave n cooking stove complete with cutlery n microwable bowls n plates (x2) plus all trimmings of chop board, scissors n knives... 3. Well apponted layout with good use of space with table for 2 to dine, 2 seater b4 TV n even a writing table in bedroom 4. Bright lightings for the night n quiet enough for good sleep despite being next to a major road. 5. Easy access with simple card tapping. 6. Tram 30 just outside n police hq is diagonally across so very safe

AustraliaWe were not told that if we arrived after 7pm we could not use the hotel parking. Staff had no idea that there was an event at Marvel and could offer us no alternative parking suggestions for nearby. Not helpful as we were from interstate.
Loved the location close to tram line, train station, DFO parking and Marvel stadium. Hotel was clean and beds were clean and comfy. 2 bathrooms made travelling with a group easier to manage. Loved the patio upstairs! Awesome views.
