Booked & paid for the room in advance. Sent msg to hotel to find out if they had 24/7 reception due to our flight arriving after midnight, but did not receive response. Noted on website could access room via after hours service. Arrived at hotel at 1.45am and called after hours service 8 times with no response. It wasn’t until we sent a text that access to room was provided. Was informed they don’t answer numbers with no caller ID (this is despite having a booking for this night). The room itself was not flash but comfortable enough. Could smell cigarette smoke in the room. Hotel is on busy Sydney rd so if you’re a light sleeper probably not the best place for you. I didn’t have any issue falling asleep though.

The hotel was economical and accessible to Melbourne airport. Staff were friendly & helpful.

The Saturday morning a male was on duty. He was the most unfriendliness person I have ever seen. Didn’t smile and was not helpful. The front desk person should be pleasant and a people’s person. He certainly wasn’t that. He clearly hated his job.

Missing a towel, room wasn't cleaned/towels changed/extra coffee tea etc. after first night (2 night stay). Bed needs some attention, it's lumpy on one side.

Easy car parking, easy access. Straight forward and simple. Room was clean and tidy. Lights and heating work well. Stair access only - some pre-warning might be nice.

There are no sockets near the bed, so charging and using your phone while being in bed is not possible. The bathroom felt like a very small cell. Many tourist making a lot of noise at night on the hallway, going to party or coming back. Very noisy rooms. As there is no-one at the reception at night you cannot use their help in making people quite down. The door from reception to outside is very loud when it closes, with a bang. And many people coming in and going out. Reception said it was the wind, but it's not, it's each time the door closes. The breakfast area feels really tight and the breakfast is really minimalistic and bad, I therefore did not use the breakfast at the hotel. Low ceilings in the hotel, so feels a bit cramped.

The room was above the outside smoking area. The room smelt of cigarettes and weed depending on who was below gasping away.

I found three issues with regards to the cleanliness. The bathroom walls and door had mould on them. The room floor was dirty and dusty. Second the 1st room I checked into had strong cigarette smoke smell in the air though they had no smoking signs on the doors. They gave me another room and there were not bath towels in the room.

Location was good. I didn't have any breakfast. Price was OK.

we booked 4 rooms . Room 329 the smell of bleach was overwhelming and the window only opens an inch due to the safety chain. there was pubic hair in the shower . however in one of our other rooms , non smoking , it reeked of cigarette smokes and the safety chain in the window was broken .

Rooms were very small and the area wasnt the greatest.

Room was comfortable and clean. It was good enough for one night, but wouldn't stay much longer than that. Breakfast was simple but nice. Staff were pleasant.

As it's on a massive highway I didn't sleep at all, the windows are very thin and not sound proof at all, the windows shook all night from the traffic. The room was pretty dirty, lots of build up of dirt around the bed area, The door was clearly replaced with a piece of very thin wood that was not a door, did not make me feel very safe at all, it was also not numbered so that was quite confusing trying to work out which room was mine. It was fair for the price but defiantly would not return.

The price was good. The two male staff when I left were friendly.
