Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

What a fantastic find! 2 min walk to the civic mall. Great spot for shopping and restaurants. Easy and friendly communication from the host. Highly recommended.

This property is in the best spot , decorated so beautifully. This is a home stay not just a rental. Would recommend highly for short or long stay . So close to restaurants, cafes and all the major tourist spots .

These points are minor as we made do but more plates/bowls given there were 6 of us, availability of basic cooking supplies like olive oil and the sofa bed was more of a fold out couch.
The apartment was really nice, clean and comfortable. We went down as a group for the Canberra marathon and it was perfect. Close walking distance to the shops and restaurants/bars. The parking space was handy. If you’re going with a group, there is street parking but check the signs for times when you can’t park.

We came in quite late 8pm. Had a bit of trouble finding the unit as didnt know the name of the apartments, only had the street number which wasnt displayed. Would be helpful to give the name of the apartments in the booking.
It was central to everything. Walking distance to the War Memorial and a couple of 100m to coles, restaurants and shops. Awesome location, very quiet and a lockup garage for the car. The unit was lovely and spacious. Very clean and well maintained with front and back courtyards with back courtyard leading to the garage.

Nice apartment, good kitchen, comfy beds, two bathrooms (great because there were three of us). Garage is as very much appreciated. Slight confusion about getting the keys but easily resolved.

Could do with shelf in little bathroom to put toiletries on. Drying rack in back yard should be moved as it would be very easy to walk into it when walking from garage to back door especially if it’s dark. Great to have one though.
Very clean, lovely interior design, comfortable beds and lovely bed linen., 2 bathrooms good for 2 people with bath 😊 Friend with car delighted about garage.

Small thing but could benefit from another sofa or an armchair instead of the wooden seats. Just to be comfortable when watching tv.
The location was just perfect & the apartment was spacious. Easy 5 min walk to major shopping & restaurants. Loved having plenty of towels, coffee pods & dishwasher tablets. Everything felt generous.

It was particularly cold during our visit and the door off bedroom had cold air coming through. Needs better blinds on doors.
Location was great, comfortable bed, nice facilities, super clean and lots of supplies provided. Decorations and linen was lovely.

Accommodation was in a great location in the CBD, walking distance to Anzac Parade and Australian War Memorial. Communication with owner was very good. I would certainly stay there again.

beds could be a little more comfortable. also the lighting in the rooms could be improved. a lot of street lights came through the bedrooms. maybe block out curtains would be beneficial. but over all amazing!!
