We stayed 2 nights for a wedding. Unfortunately the modem was not functioning correctly for our visit and one of our group was not able to complete their assignments. An offer to use the cellar door wifi was appreciated.

Place is great. No real issues. Only suggestions for improvement are minor: 1. Outdoor seating area not shaded on warm afternoon 2. Couple of fly screens on windows need adjusting to keep the bugs out fully.

Extremely clean, private, peaceful and beautiful views. Everything we needed for a weekend stay. Prior to our stay Nikki, the property was extremely helpful- offering lots of advice on what to do during our stay.

While there are two air conditioning units (one upstairs and one downstairs), we stayed on a particularly hot weekend. We did the right thing and turned off the airconditioning when we went out for the first day, but when we returned that afternoon, it was virtually impossible to cool the rooms down for an afternoon nap, as the Barn has a very tall pitched roof (which we loved). We ended up having to have both air conditioning units, plus both standing fans, running for almost all that night to cool down the space enough to sleep. The next day was a bit milder, and the air conditioning worked much better. The only other thing that I reported, was that the left hotplate on the stove didn't work, so it took absolute ages to cook breakfast in just one frypan. I'm sure they'll replace that now that it's been reported.

The Barn cabin is very quaint, with its exposed beams and bedroom up the top. It's located on a property, with a big distance between each cabin, so there's absolutely no noise or lights from other people. We saw a couple of kangaroos near our cabin each morning and afternoon, which made our stay special. It's very reasonably priced compared to other accomodation in the local area, where you'd pay the same amount for just one room. The beds were nice and firm, and therefore very comfortable, as there's nothing worse than a soft and saggy mattress. My husband managed to break two glasses while washing up (!!), and when I phoned the managed to apologise, she was very accomodating, and didn't charge as for that, so we were very happy about that.

We're two friends who both work online and rented the house for a few nights mid-week as a "workation". The location was perfect, really quiet, lots of wildlife (heaps of kangaroos!), great internet if you need to take video calls, fully equipped kitchen and BBQ, we loved it.

The water pressure in both showers could be stronger, and one the beds was squeaky. Other than that everything was great.

The 5 bedrooms meant that as friends we could all have our own room and still be in the same house. We could spend time in the Loungeroom watching tv if we wanted to and having a kitchen meant we could have our own food instead of having to go “out” all the time.

What an amazing cottage! We all absolutely loved staying in The Barn which was very spacious, had everything we needed in it and then the bonus of fantastic countryside on our doorstep. Will definitely stay again.

The cooking stove is mounted on top of oven which makes it too high and difficult to use. Also, it heats up a lot slower than expected. Maybe that needs to changed. Few other small things like kitchen towels and salt ran out and could have been stocked up. Rest everything was fine.

The location and the surrounding is amazing. Had a lot of kangaroos to welcome and accompany us. The property had all the facilities. Overall a good stay for family and friends.
