To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

No breakfast offered. Good parking Motel isn't close to restaurants or shops Nearest shops at least 10 minutes by car but walking would be very difficult Motel is having building upgrade. My room wasn't readily available but I was given an upgrade which was very nice The motel is on a very busy road and can only be accessed from one way so if driving it is difficult to get back to it. Bedding was clean but did not have a blanket or doona just a sheet and very lightweight cover so had to rely on reverse cycle heating to provide comfort. I found this very unusual as it is winter

AustraliaTiled floor hadn't been cleaned in a while. Bathroom was filth! Black mould needs to be treated on the ceiling and in the shower recess. I imagine the La Niña "big wet" weather this year has been no friend in that department. Admittedly, I opted not to shower. (Handbasin wash was fine with me.) Stairwells and landings need a good vacuum! Even on a budget spend, the cleanliness was really the only letdown, though I understand that they struggled to keep staff during COVID times.
Proprietor was very friendly - provided a room away from Parramatta Rd with leafy outlook. Staff, including contractors, are polite and friendly too. All the BASIC essentials were there: comfy bed was great, heater and telly worked, hot water didn't take too long to run in the bathroom. Nice fresh clean linen, spare blankets - good for chilly weather - and bathroom basics included dental kit and shaving kit, bit more than the avg motel. Decent loo paper (why doesn't anyone ever report this? haha) Gated security is excellent, for pedestrian access as well. A plus-plus for this site. SUPERB LOCATION - between Summer Hill and Haberfield yummo restaurants and shops. Noone can beat their "value for $$" in this regard - so didn't expect much else on the room other than the basics for this last minute price. NOTE: STAIRS ONLY up to 3rd floor. (Something to consider.) Multiple trips for parents with kids when unpacking. Really only 1 staircase if you're game to squeeze into a park on the middle level. Free parking is better for tiny cars, not so much AWDs and modern wide-bodied, impractical, truck size family vehicles which didn't exist back when the motel was built! Parking in the side streets overnight will do as an alternative if you can find it. Safe area. Two parking bays available on arrival when you get off busy, busy Parra Rd to check-in. Most city drivers are aware of this motel so are surprisingly patient (for Sydney) when you need to pull off into the driveway. (Look for the big "24hr" neon on approach.) Didn't end up using WiFi so can't comment on that. Late check-in/out is probably the best for this area. If you're a long distance traveller, it turned out to be handy for me because of the friendly tyre business next door!
