Bathroom floor was always wet, even when we first checked in (leak?). Toilet had a weird smell. Aircon is immediately next to the top bunk bed. Plus the bunk beds are very creaky & move a lot - someone tossing & turning in the bottom is easily felt by the top bunk. The car spaces are VERY small, if you don’t fit in those ‘small car’ spaces normally, you’ll have a hard time fitting in the carpark. Lots of noise from the main road. The fridge also smelt weird, like off milk or feet. Would be a fine budget stay with some maintenance & cleaning.

Air con, water pressure, reception is open late, staff were nice, secure parking, the rooftop is nice. Price wasn’t too bad.

Not a picture on the walls. New tv but was not set up to stream or hung. I had to use my own log ins. Couch had a leg missing and leaned over. Could not sit on it. Staff said would tell the boys but nothing happened. Bad spell of ruined or something similar.

The bed was comfortable. Bathroom recently renewed, quite nice.

The pillows were a little hard but I brought my own pillow so there was no issue and we couldn't find a proper room bin so we had to use the bathroom bin.

The room was the perfect room to stay in before the Taylor Swift concert. Great value for a short stay, big mirrors and clean bathroom perfect for getting ready in. Decently comfy beds and convenient microwave, kettle and utensils in the cupboard. Plus the surrounding neighbourhood is super cute with trees and adorable houses lining the street (Sloane St/Kensington Rd)

We couldn't get access to our room at midnight. And had to wait an hour for reception to allow us access to our room that we had paid for. Also the power supply was faulty and caused one of us to be zapped. Not up to standard.

Leaking shower, not overly clean, had renovated room but was holes in walls, scratches on bed, hole in wall near aircon, 2 towels for 5 people, went out for day and only bins changed, dirty towels still on floor and not replaced, had to find cleaners for towels, flashing coloured lights in room, tiny rooms for 5 people, had to sit luggage on floor, So wouldnt recommend, think the place needs lots fixing! Would be amazing spot if rooms were nicer

Nothing like the advertisement, old bed in middle of empty room, no bedside tables, disgusting old bathroom with no shower screen/curtain, filthy windows and drapes, don't need to use lights in unit overnight as outside light does better and too bright, woken early by cleaner and her blower vac for hours, eftpos machine was a problem then it blocked my card plus they charge surcharge for it, very poor place to stay would not recommend it at all.

Aircon was broken (though got fixed promptly), tv didn’t work (didn’t bother to ask about that), and we waited 20 minutes for staff to arrive to check out(pressing buzzer and calling front desk).. they never came. Ended up having to call after hours number and they just said leave the key on the desk. When you turn the shower on, the holder is too weak for the pressure and it creeps upwards until it goes out the top and the whole bathroom is soaked.

Free parking on site and good location. handyman was fast to fix the broken AC.

The toilet was broken, came away and also leaking cistern. The bathroom was the smallest bathroom I have ever been in. The room was very basic but clean.

The location was good for what we required, the staff friendly and helpful.

I have stayed at Marco Polo many times. Why? great value. Good location, Secure covered parking at no extra cost. Very close to Summerhill Train service. Friendly and help staff. Of course I would stay again.

The room was dirty, dusty and smelt of urine. The shower was broken, the bathroom had mould and the light fittings were broken. Most of the power sockets didn’t work. We would have stayed elsewhere had there been any other accommodation options available in Sydney those 2 nights.
