The couch is uncomfortable and not ideal for 2 people to kick back and relax. However, time spent on the couch is very limited so not an issue.

The whole aesthetic of the property and location was perfect. Bit of history to the place as well. The owners and their dog live next door, they’re great too. The facilities are well appointed and clean. Comfy bed! Would stay here on every return to Beechworth.

Nothing I didn’t like about the property. A tad hard to find at night in Beechworth and sat nav sent me down the street, but hosts were helpful.

A gorgeous cottage that is very comfortable and clean. Stylish decor with interesting pieces and a lovely outlook from the many windows. A clean and functional kitchen and bathroom make this property a perfect escape in the beautiful town of Beechworth. It was very tempting to change the locks and never leave! ;)

A little bit hard to find if you don't know the area. Perhaps some vibrant signs might be handy. But we found it once we hopped out and took a small walk. Google maps got us there but it was to the back of the building and we could not see the small sign that had the house number on it till later in our stay. Just a very very minor thing. We loved our stay!

Lovely hosts. Lovely cottage. Very accommodating and kind. Loved it! Will definitely return. We enjoyed a great meal at the pub All the people we spoke to were kind and generous. Will be recommending to friends.

Hard to find. Need better signage. Wall between rooms not soundproof. Hopefully this will happen going forward as the room seemed to have some things unfinished.

nothing to do with the hosts or the location, the weather was pretty foul!

The cottage was just lovely, equipped with a full kitchen, gorgeous bathroom and the cosiest, comfy couch. We were able to cook a fabulous Christmas lunch to enjoy the bottle of wine the hosts generously left for us with. We knew we were in the right place when we arrived to see 2 Border Collies watching us from the window!

Maybe that the accommodation is not in the city centre, but distances are small so it is walkable.

Renovated accommodation with a lot of gusto and respect for heritage character. Very spacious one-bedroom apartment with kitchen and all needed utilities. Nick is great host and gave excellent advice on restaurant, wines and wineries.

The shared driveway needs fixing (but then again after all the rain there’s probably no driveway unaffected). And the internet download (trying to watch Netflix/Stan was a problem). Luckily we took a stick with stuff on it - problem solved!

We loved staying in this beautifully restored cottage. It has such history & charm. Tastefully renovated. Our hosts couldn’t have been nicer & more obliging.

Beautiful space, big and airy. Bed was very comfy, and it was lovely to have all the amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen. This is perfect for a stay if you are visiting the Asylum or going on a ghost tour! Drive to town is only about two minutes, and is also walkable. Walking around the grounds is lovely too. Hosts were super friendly, and gave us loads of local tips which were fantastic.
