There's a note in the bathroom to be careful with water use, improved taps and toilet cistern are needed to be able to fully comply with this.

I was able to park the hire car right outside for free, whilst I took my luggage to the room before returning the car. Large room, comfortable bed, good shower, free CAT bus just two streets away.

Could really do with a good clean. Everything in the room felt pretty grubby. View from room was over an abandoned lot with dumped rubbish. Not very many plug outlets available in room.

The hotel was a bit dated, the room was very basic. Hallways just seemed very old fashioned and not in a nice way either. The view out my window was to an empty lot full of graffiti and the noise of the traffic was quite loud for my second story room. I wasn’t here for a holiday fortunately just needed a place to set up for an event in Perth over the weekend so it did what it needed to do for myself, but I wouldn’t be coming here for a relaxing weekend away! The folder in the room had absolutely zero information regarding hotel facilities, the advertisement for the room when I booked said there was a gym, wouldn’t know where to find it!

The bed was lovely and comfortable and the staff I interacted with were very friendly!

Little bit dated, in need of refurbishment. No bar or restaurant beyond breakfast. Room not exactly as described but that was because we had to move rooms due to initial problem, staff did relocate us though.

Breakfast was good, reasonable choice. Staff were polite and helpful. Location is quite good, free bus service helps. Not too far to walk for Elizabeth quay, eating places within easy walking distance.

The lighting for the work desk was very dim and there was no way of improving that. The TV didn't work and when I reported at the reception, the staff said casually there is nothing they can do until the following when maintenance were on sight. There was no empathy nor did he offer to come and have a look at the problem. To his credit though, he offered a free parking but it was after I asked for it. This caused problems at check out with the receptionist telling me they don't offer free parking and I must pay for it. I explained what happened and she still insisted that it was not on my booking notes, I protested and told her that I didn't know why it wasn't on the system and it was not my fault that it wasn't, she eventually gave in. The door handle to the bathroom door is lose and almost coming off. The toilet paper holder is awkwardly placed behind you, you have to practically turn around to reach it.

Rooms are fair size and good for business stay, they have a table and chair which are key to a working or business stay. The bathroom supplies were adequate and the bathroom and shower were very clean and well presented. There was enough tea and milk supplies for those essential cup of teas as the weather was very cold. The price was fair.

The breakfast was not worth the extra money. It would have cost the same to eat out and have more options than toast, cereal and cooked food that didn’t look nice enough to eat.
