Nothing we were very happy.

What a little find! The accommodation is quite basic but has the most amazing, peaceful location which more then makes up for everything. We felt so relaxed! It was so easy to stroll down to the beach for sunset in the evening which was just magical - not a soul in sight just nature. We only stayed one night but would have been happy to stay longer. The cabin had everything we needed, there was plenty of hot water for showers and despite feeling a bit anxious about accessing because of previous reviews we had no issues - although we do have a four wheel drive car so maybe something to bear in mind if you don't! Ian, the host, is so nice and very communicative about directions and checking everything was ok which was much appreciated. We very much recommend Ecostay cottages.

BBQ didn't heat up enough very old and rusty so had to cook inside, no outside light for evening, front sliding door constantly came off rail and jammed a weak person would be stuck inside needs fixing asap . I know it's not their thing but some bin liner's would help, food gets stinky in the bin after a few days and once full nowhere to put it . But overall all good Wil come back next year hopefully.

Amazing views good value for money have stayed in middle cabin this one is better has a shade veranda . Very impressed how it is powered up with solar mo problems with power or hot water for ahower , only bedroom fan no air conditioning in this unit.

Access was difficult and probably should be 4WD only. We got stuck twice in the sand as we only have a small 2WD car.

Location. Remote, peaceful, isolated and within walking distance of a nice quiet local beach. No facilities at the beach, no vehicle access, nobody. Great!

Absolutely LOVE this cabin - its simple, but was perfect for what we wanted, and oh my God the view! I could stay here forever. Host is super friendly and best of all we can have our pooch with us :) Thankyou Ian - Been twice, and will be back again for sure!

Unfortunately the gas bbq didn't work. One side of burners didn't function at all and the other side very poor flame. Also a warning to renters that the road to the property becomes off road and very bumpy and we nearly grounded. Also take food as very isolated.

Small ant issue and occasional mice visits but being in such a remote location totally expected. Did get warm with no aircon BUT during the night opened all windows and cooled down quickly.

Kitchen equipment was bit lacking and sofa was super uncomfortable. A little bit of screening to buffer the wind would be good so you can still use front deck. BBQ area around side instead of washing line would also be better in the one we stayed in. Also if the outside couch is beyond use better to get rid of and put something else there. Needs some.TLC in places but still an amazing place.

Amazing views, total peace, and quiet. Perfect little getaway for couples wanting some time away off grid. Very well priced.
