Very grotty place driving distance to most areas..

The cost of the room at the last minute was good and we were only stayiing there to sleep.

The pool was at our door and the local kids were in there swimming and being noisy up until 9 at night. The sheets were not changed. This is obvious to someone who already cleans motel's. The carpets were worn and the walls dirty.

We booked the luxury spa suite and was looking forward to a spa after a long drive only to find it was a spa shaped bath with NO PLUG. There was no complimentary milk for coffee on arrival so we had to go out after a 5 hour drive at 9pm to find somewhere open. The dining chairs, whilst comfy, were showing clear signs of age. The sink area had cracks in the counter tops that were badly repaired.

The price was great and the location suited our needs.

It's was very noisy. Could hear doors slamming well into the night and early morning(I think a lot of workmen use the motel). Could hear the shower from next door. My first stay, the sliding door, had no lock. This was a bit concerning for a single traveller. And the second stay a week later different room there was no tea and coffee

Staying in Room 45 being close to the back door, there was constant noise of the slamming door from guests coming and going. The bath towels could have been a bit thicker than thread bare, and I'm not exaggerating.

Didn't get breakfast.

This property is listed as ‘cairns city’. It is not cairns city it is in earlville and opposite earlville shopping centre. It js 5-8km out of the actual CBD so the term ‘cairns city’ has been applied very loosely i would encourage them To update their booking location to ‘earlville’ because travellers would assume ‘cairns city’ might mean it’s closer to the actually cairns city only to find it’s a suburb or two out so you have to get a 20 min bus or $20 Uber back to the property.

The property was very clean and self-sufficient with tea and coffee provided. It’s just a perfect no frills place and easy to find the blankets were very comfy and the fan was great.

No staff no rubbish collected no clean anything while we were there as no staff much further out of town had to catch bus into town .bad area pokies across the road noise at night

Bed too mobile, TV cabling faulty Fan only had 3 speeds - Helicopter, slow idle & off. Fridge badly in need of defrosting broken freezer door & set in unventilated cupboard affecting its ability to perform well No crockery, no cutlery no water jug no wine glasses. VERY noisy neighbor talking on the phone for ages at very early hours of the morning.

I was travelling alone and was warned by local family and friends that it wasn't very safe to stay there as I was travelling by myself. I feel having a staff member there more visible could help with a better feeling of safety.

The Bed was very comfortable to sleep in and the ceiling fans were a great speed which is a must living in Cairns. The room was clean and tidy and the water pressure was alright. The swipe card to get into the actual building gives a sense of security.

The shower in our room was dripping all day and night and the toilet kept running all day and night we had to close the door to the bathroom to sleep. The tv in our room the antenna cable was dicky and kept dropping out.
