We loved EVERYTHING about our stay. The loft had all the items we could ask for, was beautifully presented, extremely clean and quiet. The continental breakfast included in the price was delicious, the pool gorgeous, the location so central to all the must-sees in Port Stephens and our hosts Merilyn and Bruce were a treat - letting us in on all the areas secrets + teaching us a fabulous new card game. We would very happily return!

Everything was mostly pretty superb... Hubby and I thought perhaps the lounge could have been positioned in front of the TV, To offer more relax at home opportunities for those that don't want to leave the apartment... But other than that... Was perfect!!!!

Location was perfect.. within driving distance of many beautiful local cafes and beaches.. and walking distance of shops Hosts were very accommodating and left us to explore and very kind to show us the local area... They left us to ourselves outside of when we needed help and it felt very exclusive. We loved the space and felt very at home ... A beautiful getaway for our anniversary... Loved it

Note: As mentioned you can‘t cook in there but there is a microwave, toaster, fridge etc.

The location is just stunning: In the backyard is a wonderful spot to eat breakfast or dinner next to the creek. Also there is a pool you can use. The room is right next to the owners house but still feels very private. Breakfast was amazing! The room is filled with everything you need and we felt really comfortable to be there. Also we liked the moskito nets on the windows so you could sleep with open windows. The place is within walking distance to supermarkets but it is in a quiet neighbourhood. Merilyn and Bruce were very welcoming and we enjoyed talking to them. They gave us amazing tips on what to do in the area but also about our further travels.

Merilyn and Bruce are the kindest and most generous hosts. We were treated like royalty. My partner and I had the best stay at Salamader bay B&B. Beautiful spacious room, with a fully stocked fridge and a variety of delicious breakfast options. There were lollies at every corner of our room. We absolutely adored the Christmas decor. There's a beautiful private creek a few steps outside the room, you can sit and eat by the creek if you'd like. Picnic baskets and trays are provided. Our room also had a beach umbrella and chairs. Both Merilyn and Bruce gave us great tips about the best cafes, restaurants and scenic spots close by. Overall a comfortable and fantastic stay. Will definitely be back again. Priya

Merilyn and Bruce had thought of everything, even down to having spare batteries ready in case the battery in the TV remote ran out. Breakfast was amazing and they were very help to help with restaurant and outing recommendations. The private pool was an added bonus!

Everything about it. The location was perfect for exploring the area and Marlyn, one of our fantastic hosts, gave us some great hints and tips about what to see & do in the area. We were in the studio apartment and it was just wonderful. Immaculately clean and very spacious, with its own kitchen, dining & sitting area. It was exceptionally well kitted out, with all the little personal touches that make all the difference to your stay. You can just tell by the preparation Marlyn takes when preparing the continental breakfast things, that she takes great pride in preparing well for her guests. It was a joy to stay there and I would highly recommend this accommodation

The location is great being back off the road and gated off for privacy. I didn't get to enjoy the breakfast provided being too wrapped up with other plans but they really put in all the effort making everything comfortable.

Be aware the bedroom suite is upstairs. We didn’t have a problem with it but some others might.

What a fantastic place to stay. Such a find! The bedroom suite above their double garage is wonderful and so spacious and welcoming. The gardens are peaceful and serene to spend time in. Walking distance to Salamander Bay Shopping Centre. Merilyn and Bruce cannot do enough for their visitors making you very welcome. We will go back for sure! 🥰🥰

Harry Potter wasn’t in the cupboard lol. Honestly, all was great. Very well appointed room and facilities thank you.

Plenty of food supplied to eat breakfast when we woke. The maps and directions were very useful during our stay as well. Thank you.

The property was perfect! We couldn’t fault it, close to shops and restaurants, a quick drive to anywhere in Port Stephens. The B&B was beautiful and the garden and pool were amazing!
