It was attached to a pub and had the occasional drunk nearby, although it wasn’t noisy.

The only thing we could fault was the missing screen door to the balcony but we had no problem with flies or mozzies (April).

Rooms above the bar/bistro. Old building and have to climb the stairs but the rooms have been refurbished and were very neat and clean. The price was very good and the location was fabulous, as it was within easy walking distance to a beautiful beach and shops and Woolworths/Chemist/Food/Fuel was right next door.

Bathrooms, hallway, stairwell could do with a tidy up.

Location, handy to where our family live and to the beach. Staff were friendly, rooms quiet and living area very nicely renovated. Having a washing machine available was great. Good shops around and handy to buses.

Only one room key. The beer and meal in the pub was expensive.

The room was really well laid out. There was a comfy sofa and a small table and chairs. The shower was so powerful it was great, and the bed was comfortable. I was worried about it being noisy above the pub, but by 10 pm it was quiet. There’s also a nice little balcony where I could drink my morning coffee.

Very clean. Easy check-in and check-out. Ample car parking. Close proximity to supermarket (next door) and beach (nearby). The hotel below was not open, so noise was not an issue for our one night stay.

The reception area is dark and dingy and unwelcoming. This is off putting & detracts from the nice rooms above.

Great location and newly renovated rooms. Quiet and comfortable. Beds, linen and towels ( Manchester ware to Aussies!) are top quality.

Stayed one night with family. Room and facility met our needs. Quiet overnight , comfortable, handy location, clean, easy parking, nice pub with good beer and relaxed vibes. Surrounded by shops for groceries, medical, fuel, bakery, restaurants and not too far from airport.

The Wifi wasn't working and although the chap who registered us tried to help, it was no good. Fortunately it was a cool night because the air conditioner was pathetic and opening the sliding door was more effective.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, going out of their way to help. The room was well enough appointed, even an iron and ironing board.

The location was good just a short walk to Maroubra beach and the small shopping centre next door was very handy and all the people there very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean with a nice little balcony. From the housekeeping staff to the staff in the pub were all very friendly and helpful especially Chrissie our housekeeper who as we were there for 4 weeks looked after us like a mother hen.

We were close to a function we were attending and having the pub below was handy and so was Maroubra Beach.
