I did not like the smell of the bathroom, however that may have just been me. The table top and kitchen bench top were not 100% clean, neither was the carpet which was stained in multiple locations. The path to Cottage was average, some cars would have difficulty accessing cottage. Grass needed to be cut around cottage too.

Great Location, very quiet at night. Bathroom was clean. Good Host.

The lawns could have been mowed and a few pot wholes in the driveway to the cottages need a little care. Could have had more information about the local attractions.

Overgrown vegetation surrounding the property. Spiders and cobwebs throughout the house. Carpets in poor condition and severely stained. Linen tired and requires upgrading. Overall the property requires a major overhaul……very disappointing

The cleanliness was not up to standard. Soiled couches and dining chairs, the lack of water (and not telling us earlier to prepare with water bottles / providing any water bottles for us), the Nespresso milk frother stunk of gone off milk, the cooking pan was old & dirty and shouldn’t be in use anymore, dead worms / bugs throughout the cabin, dirty kitchen counter and sheets felt sandy / dirty. And the host also visiting the cabin while we were still checked in to drop off supplies for himself for after we checkout.

The location was great and the outdoor area and barbecue were also really nice.

It would have been great if there is some provision to get some good breakfast. Have to drive to Apollo bay to get some breakfast unless you had taken all the things with you to make it. Kitchen have all the amenities.

Location is magnificent. Gives you complete serenity. Our sunset cottage had breathtaking views. Spacious, comfy and well kept. Had beautiful views from inside the cottage too. My puppies had the most fun exploring the nature. Totally loved it. Definitely will go back.

There was no wifi / Internet at this place. I didn't check before making the booking, but that was even better since the kids could go to bed early.

Accommodation wasn’t well maintained - road to property was overgrown (would scratch tall vehicles), shower had black mould, washing machine had mould, fridge was dirty, windows covered in dust. Limited internet reception.

Remote setting surrounded by trees, we had a koala in the tree right beside our accommodation each day.

Whilst the linen and bathroom was lovely fresh and clean a lot of the cutlery and cups were dirty, the barb q was rusty and covered in rat pooh which was disappointing as we planned a bar b q dinner which we couldn't have. When we arrived there was cleaning stuff on the bench and under the sink the dish brush and rag were disgusting and the fridge was not clean... we concluded there must be some sort of cleaning check list which was done well but other areas neglected.The grass in front of the cabin whilst mown from surrounding bush was still quite long and needed to be cut for full enjoyment.

It was beautifully quiet, we saw native animals and birds, the bed was very comfortable and the coffee machine was a lovely surprise as was the dog treat. It was comfortable for our purchases.

Be aware there is very little / no phone signal - but I was happy about that.

Saw 2 Koalas, one strolling right past the cottage around mid-morning, echidna, kanagroos and lots of different birds. Dog friendly with a treat, bowls and sleeping mat provided on arrival. The fire place ensures you will never be cold inside, it is amazing.

The cottage was dirty. There were cobwebs and dust on all the insides of the log walls, spider droppings and little millipedes everywhere. The carpet was stained, the couches, cushions and chairs were filthy. The lino in the kitchen and bathroom has ripples in it - a trip hazard. The bed and pillows were hard and uncomfortable. No wifi. The road in is a little challeging for a small car- muddy and slippery

The bedlinen and towels were nice. The heating worked well and the surroundings were lovely. The sky at night was thick with stars and there was wildlife around to see. Nice verandah and picnic table outside. Bed, towels and bowls with a dog treat were provided for our dog - nice touch.

Definitely needed to be cleaned properly. Under the sink stank and was no new sponge to wash dishes. I understand that its pet friendly put the lounge was covered in dog hair so couldn't sit on it. The linen also had dog hair through it.

Location was good if you want to be secluded and have your own privacy. The gas heater was nice and warmed up the whole place quickly.

Everything was great, except: Unfortunately, the bedroom was quite dusty, and hair in the shower plus mould and orange rusty deposits told their own story. . .. For the price, i expected very clean, but subject to ordinar wear and tear

Other than improvement of cleaning practices, the place can be quite cozy. Well equipped with cooking utensils; Location is superb with easy access to other great Points of Interest, and with 0 ambient light, it is a prime spot for astrophotography. Heating is fantastic!
