My room was right next to the communal area and there are no rules about noise on an evening. There were a number of guests cooking and talking loud on the phone after 11pm.

I liked having my own room, the communal areas were a good size and very well maintained. There are plenty of facilities for everyone staying on each floor.

You can't open the window wide so the room was humid and smelly after only one night. The atmosphere was very calm in the common areas. It is a good place to stay calm but not really to meet travellers.

Very nice and friendly staff. We arrived after the check-in hour and we had no issue to enter, following the instructions sent. The hostel is perfectly located at 25min from the airport by train and 30min from the Opera House by foot. The bed was confortable and the room+facilities were clean. We also had free food, free washing machine and dryer and free powder from the reception.

Windows were quite thin and there seemed to be some sort of metal roof outside, so when it was raining, it was impossible to sleep.

Only discrepancy would be the very thin walls so we could hear a couple arguing all night next door, and doors slamming through the night, but all in all it was a good property.

Room was super dim, needed some extra lighting. Property felt a bit tired but you can tell they are trying to make improvements. Shower stalls don’t have enough space for your clothes and products.

My room didnt have a AC wich might be problem at summer.

Every floor have very nice kitchen space and also washing machine and dryer. Staff was really helpfull and I really enjoyed my staying. Location is in centrum, near to train station witch makes exploring Sydney very easy with low cost. I recommend this place especially if you are traveling with somebody. It is almost same price to stay here than in hostel and you get your own room.

I feel like the affordable price offsets any complaints I might have. Maybe the lights in the rooms need to be brighter and the curtain rack did come off when I was trying to part the curtains.

I've stayed here a couple of times, it's pretty good for the price, I prefer these types of places where everyone gets their own private rooms compared to hostels. The building seems a little old, but it's well kept and clean. They have communal kitchen and bathroom and they're always clean.

Everything was real good. Nothing that I did not like. However feel that in case of a late arrival after 8 pm some clear instructions could be provided by message or email so the guest can be confident to come in late as well.

The Location was great as I could comfortably travel by train from the International Airport and the Hostel was situated just 3 minutes from Wynyard Station. Really appreciate the host and staff for providing the Room to me before time as I was quite tired. Even though the bathrooms and washrooms were shared across the floor they were quite clean. The hostel provided basic breakfast like muesli and bread and butter and cheese and jam along with options of hot and cold water and coffee and tea. Good location to travel around Sydney. Lots of pubs and restaurants close by. Real helpful and great staff. Allowed to stay in the lounge area even after check out.

The location is near Wynyard Station, it is easy to go anywhere in Sydney. The staff is so friendly. You can use kitchen, washing machine and dryer. There were also convenient stores near the hotel.

The toilet door stopped working on my son so he couldn't open it - had to climb over the top to get out and grazed his arms.

A minor point - but the only thing we would mention - is that the lighting in the room was not very good. Only one small lamp on the desk and a weak ceiling light. Didn't detract from our stay at all, but sharing in the interests of a complete review.

We enjoyed our stay in Siesta Sydney. The location was excellent for walking to attractions or local public transport stations. The room was spacious and clean, and the shared facilities (kitchen, sitting room, toilets/showers) were looked after and well equipped. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Would recommend for a simple place to stay in Sydney!

The property is right in the heart of Sydney, walking distance to Wynyard station. Convenience stores are nearby, interesting cafes all around. I booked on the day, and it was the easiest check-in process. Pleasantly surprised to see a lift :) Reception personnel was very friendly & helpful.

It's rather dilapidated. The bathrooms and showers in particular could do with a thorough renovation. The bed was too old and too soft.

It's spacious and in a good location. Staff are helpful.
