Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaLovely, clean and comfortable, home away from home. Close to Launceston but quiet, with easy parking and good value for money. Very comfortable bed, extra pillows and the house was lovely and warm!

AustraliaTo be honest, there wasn’t much we didn’t like, there is a dog in the surrounding property but no barking or anything like that throughout the night and is harmless behind the fence :)
So many amenities that aren’t a big part of the stay but made the difference for us when we just wanted to stay in on a cold winter day

AustraliaThe location is a little bit away from the city centre. It is ok if driving but for cyclists the road around takes more efforts as the apartment is somehow on top of the hill.
The facilities are good, especially the washing machine and the cloth lines.

New ZealandBoth wardrobes in the bedroom were fairly full with sheets, pillows, and bags. For longer stays it would be nice to have the use of at least one of the wardrobes to unpack your clothes. The potential for a beautiful front and back garden are there, but are not being utilised, with weeds and an unkempt lawn detracting a bit from the stylish unit.
This one-bedroom unit is situated in a small complex of similar units in the eastern side of Launceston. The unit is modern and stylish, and a wonderful place to stay for a few days (or longer). It has a fully equipped kitchen (loved the coffee maker and pods!), and both a washing machine and dryer. While the bedroom was on the smaller side, the lounge is large and comfortable. Given that the unit is several km from the center of Launceston, a vehicle is necessary to get there.

United States of AmericaA little bit on the small size for 4 adults since this is only a 1BR/1bathroom. It's a little bit tricky in the morning to wait for the bathroom.
The place is being kept very clean and feels homey. The apartment is packed with amenities like teas and coffee. It's close to the supermarket to buy any essentials

MalaysiaWater pressure for shower.
House was clean and lovely environment. The beds were comfortable ( @bedroom & living hall). Washing machine and dryer were the bonus. Pete also prepare some small stuff like bluetooth speaker , diffuser and more. There is a lot of choice for breakfast, vast array of canned and packed items, eg. soups, instant mee, spaghetti, oatmeal, milk, plant based milk and more. Full pantry supplies and well equipped kitchen, so we can prepare meal at anytime. Highly recommended for all the travellers. Great experience for me and my friend.

AustraliaWe stayed at this property for a couple of nights and it is definitely like a home away from home. The host, Pete , is so easy to communicate with and is very accomodating to special requests. The pantry is well stocked with the basic essentials and the kid's toys really made our 1 year old twins happy. The space is very spacious and furnishings well thought of. Highly recommended place to stay if you are in Launceston. Thank you so much Pete for such a lovely accommodation 😃

SingaporeThe Super twin bed provided in the living room is too small for two adults even though we had indicated clearly that we have 4 adults staying in. My second son had to sleep in the sofa. The room was not big enough for our big suitcases to be opened.
Stylishly furnished with all necessities to make our stay comfortable. It was also very clean

AustraliaWhilst the bathroom facilities were more than adequate, a very minor issue was the water pressure in the shower which could be easily resolved by descaling or replacing the shower head.
This is a self-catering apartment and upon arrival I found that the host had unexpectedly, provided a vast array of canned and packaged items, including long life milk, which were most appreciated. As described the apartment was spacious and comfortable with every amenity to make this a home away from home experience. The bed was comfortable and the availability of a washer and dryer after being on the road for a while were a real bonus Thank you Peter for your attention to the small details which made my stay and that of other travellers a great experience. Overall, highly recommended.

AustraliaThe only issue seems to be with the water pressure to the shower, but it was hot once it got there.
Location was great - it was very quiet and very easy to access the outlying areas that we went to see. The unit itself was very spacious and well equipped with mod cons such as induction cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, washing machine and dryer. The bed was very comfortable, and the pantry is well stocked with limited grocery items such as cereal and long-life milk, plus herbs, olive oil etc - you don't expect to arrive and find such items available, so it was a surprise to find the items in the pantry. The neighbour Anne in number 5 was lovely. We got to meet Zeke her German shepherd - he's all bark and bluster and settles if he's ignored.
