For people who want a lighter breakfast, including something other than a loaf of bread, bacon and eggs would be ideal. Some spreads to have on toast or cereal would be other good options.

Problem….the contact number for access to the property was not useful and left quite a few massages. We had already arrived in Mudgee before another rep and different contact number found us. The property was lovely in all other respects!

Breakfast included could have been more generous and more breakfast options included. Manuals provided for use of kitchen appliances, TV etc.

Please put lockable casters on the bed, or a rug underneath it! I tried to sit up to read and the bed just slid away from the bedhead ...! But I could lie flat to read so it wasn't that much of a problem really.

We loved the central location, only a short walk to most of the Mudgee shops and eateries. The kitchen and living rooms are very spacious, as is the bedroom. The bathroom is beautifully decorated and very efficient with a washing machine and dryer included. We loved having a barbeque dinner on the front verandah on the Saturday night, after walking down to the Mudgee wine shop for a bottle of the celebrated local cab sav. The furnishings and decor are beautiful and welcoming, and there is HEAPS of storage space, and a lift for when you've bought lots of cheese or wine. And besides a bottle of local white, there was a complimentary packet of bacon, a bottle of milk and a loaf of sourdough bread in the fridge when we arrived! We would recommend the Wandering Grape to couples who want to see Mudgee at their own pace, from a very comfortable and convenient base.

the parking facilities. Only one spot shared by two apartments. Unfortunately the other apartment parked without moving for the three days. I had to park on a gravel alleyway and my car sustained a big stone chip scratch from other cars driving past. The parking facility needs to be more equitably organised.

Very early morning truck noise on main road. Broken toilet paper holder, stained couch & mat, and missing wall hanging took away the almost perfect luxury finish of the place.

Chimney from property below is at same level as upper apartment so when there is open fire below, the smoke streams across the upper balcony and the upper stinks of smoke the next day. I also read other reviews that indicated they had breakfast supplied with bacon, eggs and sourdough bread. We just had 3 eggs between two of us and nothing else :/
