The owner and his wife made us extremely welcome and had even baked a fresh loaf of bread and put some breakfast food in the fridge. Ross even invited me to watch football in his private residence. In the 21 days we toured Tassy this was by far the best accomodation we had. Thank you Ross and helen. We'll be back. Ian & Jenny Landells

Could not fault a thing

This cozy little cottage was quaint, tranquil and very clean. We were extremely happy with all the facilities included in our stay. This was the perfect stay to end our honeymoon.

The cottage is beautifully presented and set in an olive grove complete with duck pond and visiting wallabies. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious! There were so many little touches to discover, including wine, chocolates and books to enjoy. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom spacious, with everything we could wish for. A truly delightful stay.

stayed 2 nights in the middle of an olive grove with many different types of animals coming and going. Beautiful views from the road to water. Like the included breakfast and fun to cook in the mud room.

A lovely choice of eggs bacon plus a still warm loaf of home baked bread. Great coffee in the pantry along with fresh milk and butter. Could not have been nicer.

We loved staying in this peaceful, beautifully renovated cottage which is separate from the main house. It’s in an olive grove which made our stay even more delightful …self catering & wonderful breakfast provisions …we wanted for nothing. Ross our host kindly made us a cuppa when the wild weather knocked out all power overnight so it was hard to get warm. Much appreciated. Sam the family dog was overjoyed to meet us, Lovely dog. He checked on us often!

Liked everything but if looking to nitpick, there is no stove or oven in the kitchen, which is addressed by good electric appliances in the kitchen plus a grill and hot plate in the mud room (perhaps a bit chilly for a winter’s evening). Anyone planning on cooking up a feast may miss an indoor stove/oven.

Beautiful location amongst the olive groves, lovely and spacious cottage. Stylish rustic decor with smart contemporary bathroom. Generous array of breakfast provisions provided as well as treats such as fresh fruit bowl, a little decanter of something lovely as a nightcap as well as bedside chocolates. Comprehensive array of toiletries provided. Stunning views over the D’Entrecasteaux Channel and Bruny Island. Friendly and proactively informative hosts. All round excellent stay.

We loved the place and serenity in the forest. Having a fireplace in winter was fantastic. Well equipped with everything needed, great little farm shop. Our first choice when we come back to this magical area.

I can’t think of one thing…

Everything. The property and surroundings were beautiful. Verdant surroundings, plenty of wildlife and the owner’s chooks and Sam the Wonder Dog. All up better than a picture postcard. The accommodation was tasteful, comfortable, spacious, good linen and super clean.
