Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsThe rooms can be a bit noisy (you can hear sounds from other rooms above you and the hallway very clearly) There is only 2 small elevators, which get crowded very easily so you have to wait long for the elevators because they are full (With suitcases only 4 people max can fit in and the hotel has 9 floors) By the door there is a sensor light that cant be turned off, so if youre sharing the room and have to use the bathroom at night the light will turn on and maybe wake up your friend/partner.
Hotel is very conveniently located next to antwerp central station, close to shopping centre meir, as well as alot of places to eat in the same street! It is very busy outside but i didnt hear aby outside noise from inside the hotel The staff are very friendly and helpful aswell!

Saudi ArabiaThe hotel attendants are not that friendly and I feel not welcomed as they are not smiling. The aircon is centralized so you cannot control it from your own room. Normally, hotels have serving water (bottled water) ready at your room but they don’t have unless you will request. The smell is not that good. It does not feel like I am staying in a four star hotel.
It’s so conveniently located near the Central train station of Antwerp.

EstoniaThe walls are a bit too thin - could hear people a little too well.
The location was so relevant and was so pleased to stay in the hotel. All the food locations close and the Antwerp Station just across the road.

BelgiumThere are very thin windows. Me and my partner had a street view and at night we could hear everything. From cleaning the streets to people talking. Also the ceiling is very thing so when someone moves something above you, you'll also wake up.
The room was very clean. It reached all of my expectations. The bathroom was great and there were little bags for the women. The shower was really good and there you could move the tv closer to the bed.

United KingdomThere is a building site next door. Obviously it will eventually be finished but until then expect to be woken at 7am by drilling and banging on the right-hand side of the hotel. The hotel itself is also undergoing a refurbishment at the minute so the gym and the bar were closed...which the manager told us with perhaps more enthusiasm than was warranted.
The location was excellent... right next to the Centraal station on the main drag. Our junior suite had two large patio balconies looking over the Keyserlei which was lovely. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The heating was easy to switch on and quick to kick the temperature up.

United KingdomThere was no bar. They said it was to be refurbished but it didn't look like anything was happening. The restaurant was only open for breakfast. There was no information on the area - leaflets, etc.
The room was excellent and the cleaning staff were very efficient and friendly.

United KingdomThe room is looking a bit tired and needs re painting. The towels have seen better days. The beds were very soft and the mattress protector wasn't big enough so kept coming off causing the sheets to move. I ended up sleeping on top of the bed as didn't want to sleep on a bare mattress The 2nd toilet wasn't cleaned whilst here. For the size of the hotel the breakfast area is not big enough and is very cramped Drilling started at 7.30am waking us up. Not very nice when you are on holiday
The location is fab, right next to the train station and the Zoo, but you cannot hear any outside noise when in the room. We were given a bigger room than booked which was a nice surprise. The air con worked well and there was plenty of space. Breakfast was very good with a great selection

United KingdomLead image is misleading for those new to the city - it is the station, the hotel looks nothing like that. Room didn't have tea and coffee making facilities. I was on the 7th floor and the window opened fully inwards which I did flag to staff but it's concerning that it was ever the case as that is a death trap. They said they would ensure it will be fixed when flagged with them at checkout. I'd be apprehensive if I was there with kids.
The location was great and the room having a fridge was handy. The size of the room was also great and the staff were really friendly.

South AfricaCommunication fault line with some rotating staff at the restaurant front desk. Even if they have to do their job, there is always a kinder way to communicate the message and that was lacking unfortunately.
A good variety for an appetising breakfast including some fresh fruits available to start a great morning. location with viewing of the life in the street provides the impression of having breakfast in vivid ambiance.
