Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CyprusBigger bath towels would be nice.
Very comfortable room with all main facilities. The location of the hotel is very good. 5 min away from Grand Place and 5 min away from the train station. Nice cafe on the ground floor which serves coffee and brunch at good prices. Very friendly staff.

United States of AmericaI didn’t like having to walk through a crowded cafe to get to the room every day. Also, the rooms were very small.
The location was great for a quick exploration of Brussels. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Czech RepublicThe room was too small for the price.
The hotel was in just a few steps from the Grand Place, and we could even lean out of the window and see the town hall tower from our window. The room was very modern, on the top of the building and thus very quiet.

United KingdomWe had breakfast, which was a continental style with an additional cooked option. It would've been good to see a menu with the cooked options on.
Such a perfect location, with only a street away from The Grand Place. The room was so comfortable, and fresh clean towels each day. One of the busiest cafes in the whole city for all ages.

United KingdomThe room was not soundproofed as stated in the description but apart from that we had no complaints!
The hotel staff were not only very welcoming and polite but were also exceedingly helpful by providing well recommended restaurants, bars/clubs and even coffee shops! Pablo, Ewa and Eduardo were very helpful during our stay with any questions. As with any hotel pictures may seem too good to be true however, the room we had looked exactly as displayed and it was clean, had a handful of amenities. We didn't have breakfast included but the cafe downstairs will cost you more or less €15 per person either way and it is nice food and convenient! Would highly recommend staying here.

HungaryThe view from the room was ugly, but we didn't really go to Brussels to stare out the window.
The hotel is located in the centre of Brussels. Five minutes on foot to the Central Station, three minutes to the Grand Place. The staff are very nice, polite and helpful. The buffet at breakfast is not very rich, but other than that there are four dishes to choose from, which are very tasty and in large quantities. The room is not very big, but it is perfectly fine. Everything is clean and pleasant.

BelgiumThe walls are quite thin you can hear what happens in the hallway and also a little in the room next to you.
The location is really close to the main train station and to all the main things to see and do in the centre of Brussels. The bathroom was really great and it contained all rituals products that smelled great.

United KingdomIt was a little strange to have to go through a coffee shop to check in/get to the room - it might be better if that was made clearer upfront. TV in the room was working properly but staff at front desk showed little interest in getting it fixed. Breakfast was good but very inflexible in terms of what was available. There were four options and there was no ability to vary them, for example one option was eggs, bacon and multiple other things, another option was just eggs. I asked if I could have the eggs with bacon (as I didn't want all the other things) but that was a total no. It was the specific menu or nothing. The breakfast area was also very crowded the first day we were there so much so it was hard to actually go and collect our the hot breakfast we had ordered (from the choice of 4)
Location was great, right in the centre. It couldn't have been better. Room was very clean and tidy.

United KingdomOn our last two nights there was some bangining early in the morning. It sounded like it was coming from within but it could have been from outdoors. The area the hotel is in is central so could be that. But we don't fault the hotel for that at all.
Hotel is in an exceptional location. We could get everywhere by foot. If we couldn't we had access to ample modes of transport. The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. The coffe shop that it is located at the back of is a hub and the food is incredible there.

United KingdomNo lobby - there is a coffee shop instead of the lobby and you can’t just sit there without ordering. Room was very basic and tiny with the window looking right into the wall with another window. No fridge in the room and the bathroom is very outdated. At least shower curtain needs regular replacement. The official check out was at 11 but the cleaner was knocking on the door a few times starting from 10.
The best things about this hotel is the location and friendliness of the reception staff. We were allowed to leave our suitcases after the check out for a day and this was very helpful. The location can’t be more central. There was a bottle of water on arrival.

United States of AmericaThe location is amazing! It's 5 min walk from the train station and right in the center of the city with lots of restaurants and shops around. I like the café right downstairs in the lobby, the food was great (huge portions though). I also liked that there was an alarm to my room as well, if the door opened or closed a certain way (not really sure how) the alarm goes off, not loud or often, but I felt secure. Def a good hotel if you're solo traveling.
