Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Belgium- The hammam room was out of service and I wasn’t informed about it prior - It would have been nice to have the option to have a locker for people staying as well. Because walking around in bathrobes to get to the facilities wasn’t always confortable nor practical, given the fact that I had to pass by the entrance, the bar, the lift on my way from and to/ the room.
The free parking space, the service, the staff, the restaurant, swimming pool and the sauna and the fitness room as well.

BelgiumMight sounds like a detail but not that much with a baby, the absence of fridge in the room was pretty unconvenient...however the staff have helped us very well and found a quick solution for us.
Second stay and hopefully not the last in this very nice, well located and high standing hotel. High quality spa, relaxing environment. Very helpful staff.

NetherlandsRoom was not ready when we arrived. We had to wait almost an hour. We were offered a free drink though, but still.
Great hotel located in a big park or forest. Nice view. Good location for walking. There is swimming pool and sauna. Good rooms. There is small indoor playground for kids.

GermanyBar was closed at 9 pm. ☹️ Restaurant is expensive and provides only fast food, eg Pizza Margherita 19€. Former Brasserie 1-2-3 is closed. Location in the woods is nice but there is no alternative Restaurant nearby.
Very comfortable rooms. Very quite location in the woods close to Bruxelles. Nice spa area without additional costs. Very good breakfast for additional 24€.

BelgiumThe pool and pool area isn't very well heated. All the guests in the water were complaining about how cold the water was. It sure wasn't pleasant and a big disappointment for me as I booked the hotel because of the pool.
The rooms are comfortable, breakfast is delicious, the spa treatments are amazing.

NetherlandsMy room was nicely furnished, but the interior felt a bit outdated. The carpets were cleaned properly, but showed signs of aging. The general look and feel of the room could be improved with some small improvements/fixes to keep it in splendid condition.
Great breakfast buffet, gastronomically interesting dinner. Big Finnish sauna, 15 meter pool, extensive forests which are great for running and hiking. Best spots: The gardens and ponds around the Castle of La Hulpe.

NetherlandsPool water was a little too cold for me but maybe it’s subjective. I was missing a jacuzzi as well. Water wasn’t the cleanest in the pool too but overall a good spa experience.
Very nice spa resort just outside Brussels. Rooms are clean and comfortable, nice spa facilities with indoor pool and both dry and steam sauna. Breakfast is super! Bar is nice as well with good cocktails! Evening restaurant is nice, option for a la cart or buffet. Very nice surrounding forest with walking and bicycle trails.

GermanyThe drive from the highway by car to the hotel. Had from the hotel staff the info that some roads are closed due to road works, still lack of signs regarding the detour on the roads itself (of course not the hotels fault). Drive a little bit adventurous at night due to the mentioned issue.
Great location, friendly staff, very good breakfast, defintely worth a long weekend getaway. Positively surprised by the facilities on offer (not just on paper/or advertised), they actually are there to enjoy.

NetherlandsIt wasn't the fault of the hotel but the road closures and construction really sucks. We have to do a lot of rerouting just to get around the area.
We liked the beds (even the sofa beds). The staff were friendly and professional. The area of the hotel is good for relaxation and exploration. The breakfast was good.

Belgium- Restaurant options too reduced and pricey (not good value for money) - Cleanliness very good except for bad (old) stains on sofa bed mattress. - Service a bit hectic: 1. Asked for room cleanup at a certain time which was not respected. 2. Booked room with sofa bed for 2 adults + child but sofa bed didn't have bedsheets (had to ask). - no facilities for young kids (like a playground which would be so easy and helpful to add)
Very close to the Claris clinic. Good breakfast. Fantastic location being in the middle of a forest/domain, great walk and other (free or cheap) activities possible.

United KingdomIt feels like a conference center, which is not as welcoming for leisure guests. The car park is also a bit of a walk from the rooms. Felt a bit overpriced.

Very high prices for everything. the hotel is very large and the park is very beautiful, really big potential to be a perfect hotel for sport people.
