It needs repairs.. in my first room the air conditioning didn’t work, so I moved. In the second room the phone and safe didn’t work.

The hotel location, gardens, beach and staff are amazing. Food was good. It is very big but feels cozy with little corners to go sit everywhere.

Onde again I arrive and they have not reserved the rooms that I asked for, they really need to improve in that, I booked two rooms with a full or queen bed and surprise that told me they will see it, I called twice to verified, so my checking took about 30 or 40 minutes! Very disappointed but by the end the guy helped me* I said to him that was not help that was what I booked! Well is always same thing so they really need to improve this because the hotel has a lot good points but this can start ruin any one vacation’s before even started!

The location, it is clean and have a great restaurant nearby!

Some furniture and mirrors are old and some workers aren't welcome. The water price in the menu was about 500 ml bottle, but inside of fridge there were 300 ml bottles. I had to pay the same price for it.

This hotel is next to airport, it has an own taxi spot in front of the reception. Good food and cold drinks, cleaned rooms and gardens. It is amazing just being in front of sea. Amazing ! I will return next year.

the rooms are outdated. needs more variety on buffets and if you book all inclusive ( non alcoholic drinks) this should be made accessible at all times not just at meals which we thought was unfair.

the swimming pool is great for families, and the access to the beach is a walk away. the good things is that this hotel is very close to the airport. The bed is extremely comfortable and room is spacious.

The food in the restaurant is poor with plates and cutlery all being served wrapped in plastic, which isn’t good for the environment. The pool could be cleaner.

The location is excellent, on the beach and the pool area is lovely too.

The roms are not in a good condition. Price for a night would suggest better standard.we arrived late and the room we were given the toalett did not work. We got a now room but seemed still very old. Not very forth coming personal.. the beach was closed in the afternoon, seemed a bit to striced.

The hotel has a fantastic location near the beach. Great area outside.

Breakfast was not special at all. Very simple and if you want to have eggs or tapioca, you need to queue for it. They didn't take orders on table. They also don't provide drinkable water to guests. In Brazil, it's not safe to drink water from the tap, so it's common to offer a water filter in many places. Well, not in Catussaba Resort. There you have to buy a mineral water bottle. At the end, they provided me with drinkable water, but I had to complain first and tell them that this was not acceptable. Rooms are in need of some love. Very old, rusty and broken furniture.

My negative review is mainly about the room as the other parts of the resort we really enjoyed. Room: our room (1265) looked dated and in need of full modernisation (very tired 80s style furniture). The wardrobes were damaged (signs of damp damage), drawers were stuck and hard to open. The AC fan sounded as if the blades were breaking themselves so could not use AC during our stay. Fridge had external rust signs everywhere. Bathroom: Mould/dirt signs on ceiling. Looks like ceiling has been painted several times over to cover old paint (in some parts looked poor quality/rushed). No extractor fan in bathroom so all dampness stays in the room (causing more damage I guess). Balcony: the sliding doors to access the balcony were damaged so once we opened the door, we struggled to close it (had to leave it slighty open overnight in a wet and rainy evening). Wifi/4G: Wifi coverage was patchy in the room and when we got a signal, it was unworkable (however wifi was fast and strong in the pool area...). Poor mobile coverage so I had to go outside to make/receive a call. I am not sure if I was unlucky and got a bad room but I think the rooms at this resort need to be refreshed to modern standards asap. I did not request a new room as we were only staying for a night and a half and would be too much hassle for us at the time. For the price of R$722 per night, I find this terrible value for money as I could have stayed in a much better/modern hotel room elsewhere for half of the price (or less). This asking price cannot be justified based on the quality of the rooms. I made a complaint at the reception about the room experience and I will follow this up with their management. I would have given a 10/10 review to this place if the rooms were good.

Beautiful common areas, beach access, swimming pool, friendly staff. Plenty of choice for meals, common areas clean and tidy. Good location to wait for a flight from Salvador Airport.
