The water of the showers was disgusting, it was super sticky and kind of gross. After shower you felt more discomfort than before.

Overall very worthwhile. It would have been good to be able to choose between lower bed or upper bed on the bunkbeds. That would be a great feature.

two from the staff 1. blonde girl, 2. guy with a long hair. i dont know their names, but they weren’t nice at all, i think its because my spanish/portugese was a little bad, so they were rude and it felt like they dont want to service us. one night the shower had a problem, when you touch the thing that you spin to release the water, gave little electric shock and the water was with chlorine, we told this problem to the blonde girl, she just wrote something in her notebook and didnt even try to give us any solution like show us where the other showers are.

it was nice and clean, very simple and cozy, very live atmosphere and good location. there was this friendly two staff: Fernando was very nice and very welcoming, tried to help at everything he could, I dont know her name but she wear glasses and with dark hair, she also was very nice and very welcoming.

Staff wasn't a friendliest. But the worst thing was probably the most disgusting pool water I have seen. Not clean at all, many strange particles floating in it. I'm not sure why they are not cleaning it because it has a filtration system. Somebody needs to change that water fast. Not the best Che I've seen.

The breakfast is nice, but not suitable for people with food restrictions, also fruits are not served with it.

Very clean, nice staff, comfortable rooms, equipped kitchen and the perfect location. The hostel is near the bus station and city centre. I just loved it and recommend Che Lagarto hostel for everyone.

The shower in my room was not in the greatest conditions. But it's a hostel, so it's within the expectations.

The location is outstanding (centre of the city) and the bed was very comfortable and wide, for hostel standards. Staff was really helpful and nice.

Had to purchase alcohol from the hostel, not allowed to bring in from outside. It was more expensive than the supermarket which I wasnt happy about. Air conditioning remote control kept at reception. They come and switch it on then take it back. Which meant one night it was on full the whole night and everyone was freezing cold by the morning. Not great The pool is only slightly larger than a paddling pool

I'm traveling a lot, and this is definitely one of my favourites hostels, the price is usually really good the location is perfect and the best thing-is the girls that work at the reception... fun, energetic, will happily help you with anything (including detailed explanation about the beaches and buzios) and the best part is the Capirinha they make😍🔥🔥

Too loud music at night, power outlets were not at every bed. Power outlet at upper bed didn't work properly. This place is more for party guys, if you like to walk a lot, explore new places and after that just wanna rest and fall asleep it will be hard to do because of noisy environment.

Welcome caipirinha, helpful and frindly staff, really good equipped kitchen, hammock, nice building and exterior, pool, good location, close to city center, bus station.
