The lighting in the room could have been better

We stayed at Northwinds Hotel for 2 nights. The room was spacious with a small backyard and view of the mountain. The hotel has self check-in and everything was done online. The staff was also available at site whenever we needed them. The front desk was very helpful in guiding us about the places to see and things to do with all the information brochures and maps available at the desk. The key highlight of this hotel is its restaurant - The Bankhead. This place serves one of the best breakfast in town. We dined twice at this place. Their pan cakes, waffles, french toast and aloo paratha were too good, these are must try from their menu. The also serve good karak chai, which was my favorite. Our host Zoe took really good care of us and my kids. If I ever go again, I will stay at this hotel just to dine at this restaurant again

I didn’t like the soap dispenser in the shower. The soap was awful, and actually caused a rash on my hands.

Front desk staff was excellent! They helped me get into my room as early as possible! Even sent a text when the room was ready. As I was travelling alone, and waiting for family who were skiing, this was greatly appreciate! When in my room I realized there was not a remote for the TV. The front desk staff came immediately, confirmed there was no remote and within minutes were back with a working remote. Very quick service and extremely friendly staff! The room was also exceptionally clean!

The hotel sent multiple emails and text messages requesting that I check in online. They then sent an email and text message at 10am, on the day I was to leave (we were only there for one night), advising check out was at 11am and to please use the link to let us know when you will be leaving. I did not appreciate either of these.

- The location was good, it was fairly central and easy to get to. - The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. - It was a quiet location and we didn't hear the train.

We loved that pet friendly rooms were on the bottom floor with sliding door access to take the dogs out! Makes it so much easier

The air conditioning is pretty loud. Only one chair in our room but I moved two more chairs from balcony into our room. No laundry service. We stay at second floor and it's quiet. But people who stay at main floor probably can hear everything. No elevator. But We are fine to walk upstairs.

It's renovated: new mattress ，Rocky Mountain co. body wash and shampoo，coffee，minifridge and microwave.

It was a bit far away from downtown so convenience was not the best.

Super easy to find. Check in was online which was convenient. Super comfy beds and pillows. I liked having a fridge and microwave and coffee maker in the room. Fairly quiet at night too.

Nothing not to like!

Super comfy beds, clean room and friendly staff always happy to help and advise in the area. Not too far from the main town too which made it convenient. There was some building work going on in reception but this was not an issue and it was clearly communicated during the stay.

We requested a late check out at 12 pm the day before, but then at 11.15 the housekeeper came into our room without knocking when we were getting ready

We mentioned that it was our honeymoon and hotel team prepared for us a card and towel art, it was much appreciated!
