To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

CanadaI don't understand the heating method, either the room is cold or you can't sleep because of the noisy heating system. I find paid parking ridiculous, after all, we were not in the cheapest hotel.
The apartment was very clean, well equipped in the kitchen with a very good location, close to everything.

CanadaA bunch of 20 somethings in the hot tub were definitely not guests and snuck in to use the hot tub and drink. They were loud, rude and bragging how the front desk people just let them in without knowing all the time.
Love this place! I stay every year for an end of season ski trip. The pool area is great and it's close enough to the ski lifts.

I loved the location, I also loved the room we got. The size was perfect for me, and my 3 daughters and the beds were comfortable and the property was quiet. I also liked the fact that there was a kitchen, and we were able to make meals.

United States of AmericaDid not like the property management from Vacasa experience, or at least the "Guest Services" which was so useless in dealing with an (ultimately minor) room problem that I don't even know why they offer it. The controller for the gas fire insert was broken in the room (couldn't be turned off once on) and no one was able to offer the least bit of accurate information or even refer me to someone who might know how to manage it. We figured out how to work around the broken part by the second day but getting help would have made for a better first night.
Really liked the clean, spacious room, little balcony, and two facility hot tubs. Distance to the Village was good - we didn't mind being a few extra steps away from the lifts. Staff at the reception was cheery and friendly, which happily has usually been my Whistler experience.
