Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe air conditioning of our room neighbours was running all night long although it was cold those days. It was loud, but with our ear plugs we were able to sleep well.
The host was very friendly. We liked the cozy place in the middle of a beautiful landscape. Unfortunately the café/bar Chez Casimir was closed when we were there. But next to the hotel was a supermarket, where we could get something to eat.

CanadaAll was good.
We had booked a room with a shared bath. We're not sure what happened, but we were upgraded to a cottage! It was spacious, clean with a fully equipped kitchen.

CanadaIt is perhaps a bit overpriced.
A great stay in a nice auberge ran by lovely community-driven people. The staff was very nice and helpful and the room was comfortable, equipped with a little fridge and a nice coffee maker. To note that the 3-4 rooms share a single bathroom.

United KingdomNothing.
A fabulous place to stay. Great room, owners were very personable and the food in the restaurant was excellent! And the coffee machine was a great bonus, it was nice to enjoy a lovely cup of coffee after a long day in the saddle. This is an excellent place to stay for people cycling La Route Verde.

GermanyThe rooms are lovingly furnished, cozy and comfortable. In each room is a fridge and a coffee machine. A microwave is also available. Close to the accomodation is a little food store. Chez Casimir offers a bar and a restaurant and has a very nice outdoor sitting area.

CanadaEnjoyed the experience! Just don't expect the finest beds and fancy decor.
Chez Casimir is a great option for folks wishing to experience vacation accommodations with a local Quebec flavor rather than the typical hotel/motel solution. We really appreciated the cafe, arriving on a rainy evening. A true Auberge in the classic sense. Travelers just need to be ok with sharing the bathroom, which was roomy and had a great shower.

CanadaIt’s noisy near the 132 road and the restaurant, not really good window’ stores, so it’s not a proper sleep. Also, it’s one shared bathroom/toilet for the whole place (3 bedrooms).
There is a restaurant at the floor level, so if you need food quickly and easily it’s a plus. Hot water and near the 132 road. In the room, there’s a small fridge and sink.

CanadaAll perfect! (Shared bathroom / shower) but not an issue for such small place.
Small place (about 4 rooms) above a small restaurant (only open fin de semaine et pour le brunch). It is located in the quiet village away from the 132 but next door to a supermarket/dépanneur. The river is on the other side of the road. The young owner is really friendly and was willing to open the restaurant for breakfast. Most of the food is produced by her. Would go back with no hésitation!

BrazilStaff was not super friendly, seems like a side business to them. It was bit super clean (spider web, lots of insects). A/C is very noisy. There is a coffee machine in the room but no spoon. It was the minimum acceptable. It was not terrible but it was quite expensive for what we got. We paid exactly the same price for another place 300km away that included the breakfast and more services and 2 bathroom to share instead of 1 for 3 rooms. Also the restaurant is closed on Mondays, which we did not know. We had booked a hotel specifically because we were back from 3 days on the river and wanted something simple before hitting the road again. To discover the restaurant was closed and there was no option for breakfast was quite disapponting.
