The coffee in room and lobby were not good, packaged muffins were like cake, unhealthy. Beds seemed tired and a bit of sag to them, pillows lumpy. Wall plugs near bed wouldn't hold our phone chargers, kept falling out. The heater was loud so we kept it off but the room got so cold so I couldn't sleep.

They had apples and bananas, muffins, juice and coffee in the lobby. Not great, Better than nothing. Rooms were somewhat updated, quiet, fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. Nice layout. Decent size.

I also booked a 2 queen bed and received 2 doubles. When asked if we could have the 2 queens they stayed they could not fulfill it. When I asked for a cot they stated they didn't have any but I seen one in a storage room that was left open. The ice machine stopped working after out first night and there was no sign put up until we asked about it not working. I wish they had bought us ice or something to make up for the loss of the amenity. I also thought the price was a little high for what the hotel was. They did a good job of making it appealing but it is an old hotel.

hotel staff was very friendly. the 'breakfast' bar was a nice touch but for the price of the hotel I would have been nice if the hours of it was extended into the afternoon. The hotel was quiet. The gym was a good size. The hot tub was in a nice area.

Our room looked out to the garden and I walked through the garden to get to the pool. When my husband tried to go upstairs to use the indoor route, he got lost went the wrong direction.

Breakfast was great. It was helpful to have real coffee, because apparently I made runny diluted coffee in the room. I did not have the right proportion of coffee to water

1. No bottled water in the room. Even the vending machine ran out of beverages. It's true that you can get water from the faucet but remember that there are people who have sensitive stomach especially in a new place. This maybe something to add on your amenities. At least have the vending machine packed with drinks! 2. Usually the staff in this hotel are friendly and accommodating, but the Asian girl who was on duty on the night of November 25th was rude. I think she is not happy with what she's doing. Being at the front line, customer service is a must. She was not helpful at all when we were inquiring about the water and showed no willingness to help. I would understand if there are many customers at the counter but there was only me and my daughter inquiring. It even took her more than 5 minutes to come out of the staff room. Well, maybe I bothered her sleep that's why she seemed grumpy attending to us.

We use this hotel every time we go to Gibsons, the hotel was small but clean plus affordable. The location is also good with several restaurants within 5-10 minute walk.

It’s a long walk into town and very steep hill to walk back to the hotel. It noisy when people walk by your room. The hot tube was not working.

The property was easy to find and very clean. The room are modern and updated. The pool is nice and warm but a bit small.

It was a shame the hot tub wasn't working. Also having to gain the towels from reception for the pool is a little inconvenient it would be easier to just have a pile of towels in the swimming area.

The grab and go style breakfast was great and just what we needed. My kids loved the gardens and the fish. They also loved the pool.
