The only thing better than the property itself was Don and Pauline’s hospitality. It was an absolute pleasure interacting with such friendly, detail-oriented hosts. They reinforced all necessary instructions which I appreciate.

More a recommendation, not a dislike! Washrooms were kept pretty clean but could be a bit more updated. The women's washroom could use another outlet. Lots of women with hair tools. Softer bath towels and face cloths would be nice. Even bathrobes are great extras. The cleaning station for dishes could have been cleaner and there wasn't hot water. Adding a rack there to put clean dishes would be a great addition.

The setup of glamping tent was awesome with decor and theme. Loved the lights at night so pretty to see the site all lite up. Very pretty!

I spent 3 nights at the Grotto Getaway. I loved every minute of it. The staff were incredibly friendly and warm, and they made sure I had everything I needed and felt safe and comfortable. They provided complimentary towels and toileteries for the showers, battery-powered lamps to charge your phone, and even wood to make a fire. Don came and helped me start my fire when I was unable to. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean, and I saw the cleaning staff at work multiple times a day to ensure they stayed that way. As a bonus, Pauline has decorated the tents in different themes, and they are simply adorable!

The only little element we would have changed was the pillows - we both found them too big and too stiff. However, the bed and the tent itself is so cozy and comfortable !

My friend and I loved the location, the facilities and amenities, the quality of the service and the peacefulness and cleanliness of this glamping experience. It is also perfectly located to visit Bruce Peninsula and its surroundings. We will not hesitate to come back !

The shower was a bit too hot, my boyfriend said that the water ran very hot at one point so just to be careful! Other than that there was no issues :)

Dom greeted us at the main entrance and gave us a tour around the site. He was so lovely and answered any questions we had. The nautical glamping tent was amazing, so spacious and clean, and the bed was so comfy. Dom also took time to show us some of the other stays they have on site which was really cool to see. The bathrooms were clean and the shower was hot! They had a little shop too which you can buy bits and bobs from and also get some games - we chose sequence! They were very accomodating and we would defo stay here again.

It's amazing unique camping experience at this glamping tent for two nights. This location is close to all attractions we plan to explore. Don and his wife maintain this camping site very well and they are so friendly and careful persons.

Beautiful, very comfortable, We were travelling through so we didn’t have camping gear with us so the extras like nice dry firewood at the ready and complimentary s’mores made our stay so easy and enjoyable. Staff were really helpful and friendly too!

The only thing I could possibly say I didn't like was perhaps the fact that the water temperature in the shower was a bit wonky. I couldn't find the 'right' temperature.

Unique stay in this large canvas tent. The inside is decorated beautifully. We spent two nights .. one of which rained, but despite this it was warm enough. Came with a bundle of complimentary wood. There are two Muskoka chairs and a wee table in front of the fire along with a picnic table. The outside has lights strung up which made the set up so pretty. The couple that owned the Grotto Getaway were absolutely lovely. They offered tidbits on places to visit and came by to ensure all was well. They even surprised us with a set of smores for two. There are snacks, coffee, etc., in the office too. The bathroom was really clean and spacious as well. The showers were private and clean. Bonus .. we discovered one of the three lanterns in our room had a USB port .. so despite the fact that there is no electricity in the tent - we were able to charge our cell ..

Showers were awful and service was mediocre. A slight turn of the dial and it would shift from scalding hot to freezing cold. Service, for this price point, was mediocre to subpar. Even though the shower issue was known to the management, they didn't forewarn us. We just had to experience it first hand to find out. Also at this price point, I would have expected much more from the stay - the yurt was really the only step up from tent camping.

Really comfortable set up and cute decor. The bed was super comfortable! A few nice spaces to sit around the site too. Great location for getting around, but you get some car noises at night.
