To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

ColombiaLate at night, I could clearly hear the conversations of the guests in the adjacent room and even those across the hall. The walls between the rooms are quite thin. This made my stay extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant, as I struggled to get any rest with all the noise. The breakfast buffet didn't have many options to choose from, and there were no fruits.
The room was spacious and appeared well-maintained. The free shuttle service was good to go to the terminal and back to the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We had nothing but good things to say about this Holiday Inn Express. The rooms are lovely, well appointed and spacious. Loved the chaise lounge for relaxing after a day of touring in Toronto. The staff were super friendly and efficient. Their breakfast offerings were tasty and more than generous.

They requested a deposit (I don't understand why since they easilly could inspect the room at checkout), that they will return to us in a very long term in which you can't use your own money).
