The lighting in my suite was poor and could be better. For example, the reading lights on the headboard did NOT work. There was barely any light near the microwave and mini-fridge area. The remote control for the TV was a universal remote (not the TV brand’s remote control) and because of that, changing the channel on the TV was a chore. The bathroom door is just a primitive sliding door. There was NO exhaust fan in the bathroom. And so, when mother nature calls and you go take a dump in the bathroom, your entire suite stinks. The bathroom could definitely use a makeover. In the suite that I stayed in, there is NO security safe to lock up your valuables. There is a dormant door that leads to the adjacent suite which is very odd.

The hotel is clean and quiet. The lobby is bright, clean and very welcoming. The gym is excellent with very good equipment. The Bistro serves good food and the atmosphere is just right. The best part is the free shuttle van to and from Pearson airport that is available 24/7.

Would prefer a traditional coffee maker (coffee pot) - always find it difficult to make a good cup of tea in the individual cup options.

Airport to hotel shuttle was great - on time, polite and helpful driver. The buffet breakfast was great, but the food was very good, and made it TOO tempting to eat more than we should!

When you pay with a debit Visa card, they put the safety deposit in hold for 5 business days, not make sense because they can put your money faster than that

The fan on the heating unit was noisy and ran continuously all night.

We live a long enough distance from the airport that when we have a very early international flight we stay overnight near the airport. We have tried several hotels but intend to return here next time. One of the factors in choosing this hotel was proximity to a restaurant where we intended to eat. In the end, after checking it out, we ate at the hotel and were happy that we did. We even returned to the bar later for a nightcap. The staff were friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. The cost was competitive for the location. Access to the airport was super quick.

The room was poorly sound proofed and I could hear every single thing that went on in the hallway and the room next to me. I like a tea in my room in the morning, but it was not restocked for the first two days.

Shuttle needs better signage along with the two Holidays inns. its easy to get off the shuttle at the wrong one. very frustrating at 11 o'clock at night in the cold.
