Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaElevator smells like someone had been smoking weed and cigarettes. Building looks old which comes in the territory. Underground parking was good however, too small and there’s no elevator from the parking area up to the main floor. For a single parent travelling with a toddler alone with all the things we had to carry and take two trips back and forth.
Loaction is great. Right in the centre of downtown. Good 10-30min walk to all the downtown attractions

CanadaTV channels, poor sound on tv, curtains did not fully close, noisy bathroom fan, used male contraceptive found on sofa, charged me $200 on arrival in case I purchased services and said on departure I would receive a full refund in 5 to 10 days. Never had this in 50 years of travel. The manager of this hotel should spend a night in room 401

FranceDecoration and furniture are ageing and would need renovation. Not enough light in the rooms (there are lamps but not strong enough and it is very dark in the room. Furthermore, the socket of one of the bedlamps was not working and the staff did not fix it or provide an extension cord (despite our claim) during our stay. Finally, housekeeping is ensured only very 3 nights.
Well located and convenient. Easy to reach from airport and close to city center. Quiet. Friendly staff.

CanadaThe night staff was brusque and not personable. Did not expect to have to pay for parking, especially $23.00 per night. The parking lot was barely accessible, very steep driveway, 45º angle. Last night there was no room in the parking lot but we were instructed to park in a no parking space, "because we own the building," said the night concierge.
Two out of three staff were personable.

United KingdomThe room was only cleaned every 3 days which we felt was imprudent as there is a mouse problem (which is the case throughout the city too). There were mouse bait boxes throughout the hotel but we found a few droppings under our bedside table as well. If there is an issue like this, we felt the hotel should really stay on top of the hygiene in the rooms. Particularly as we would make sandwiches and have snacks for our son occasionally. The reception needed a $200 deposit from us when we checked in which was not explained when we booked. The beds have large metal posts sticking out of the corners which we were constantly scraping our legs on. The room was quite tired - there was rust on the plughole and floorboard laminate lifting and lampshades and wallpaper which does need a bit of TLC. It's a loud hotel. There were multiple nights that people were arguing very loudly or there were altercations. Luckily our son sleeps heavily but it was disruptive, though this isn't the hotel's fault necessarily.
The hotel had a fantastic location. It was between two different metro lines, Champ-de-Mars (orange) and Saint Laurent (green) so moving around the city was easy however you could also walk to old Montréal and Chinatown within 10 minutes. The 747 airport bus stops right outside the hotel too. The staff were all friendly and spoke English if necessary although we can communicate in French. The beds were sooo comfortable! The price per night is brilliant if you're on a budget. Our son managed to lock us out of our bathroom but a member of staff came up swiftly to sort which was greatly appreciated.

CanadaI put in a special request with my booking for parking and I received an email that stated "my special request will be accomodated without additional charges". However, when I arrived the staff told me that I had to pay extra for parking. When I showed them the email, they said that it was a different special request that it was referring to, but I only had one special request which was the parking. This was quite upsetting. You also couldn't adjust the temperature in the room and ours was very very hot. Thankfully, I only stayed for one night. The bed sheets were also stained...
It is a good location for a decent price. The room was a decent/standard size. Fine for a few night stays.
