The pull out sofa bed was perfect for our needs but the bed definitely needs a mattress topper because I could feel all the springs.

The resort is a great set up with the restaurant right behind the beach. The rooms were just what we needed. Since we were outside the whole time, the room didn’t need to be anything special. The staff were truly nice, helpful and knowledgeable. We’ll be coming back to rent one of the cottages next year. The beach was excellent; a little gravelly at the shoreline and the water was perfect. In front and across the bay you can see the expansive dunes of Sandbanks. Lovely!

Not exactly about the property but the restaurant was closed during the period that I was there. It opens as of Wednesday evening for dinner and I was there from Monday till Wednesday morning. The phone operator could have told me that when I was confirming my stay. I would have brought more meals for my family- esp. with the oven, stove, fridge and freezer available!

The location is really great. You can see the dunes beach from the resort. The facilities in the room is very good too. I didn’t expect dishes, kettle, coffee machine etc. I thought it would be just a mini fridge and microwave oven. Pleasantly surprised.

The grounds and building conditions were in need of drastic repair. A very tired looking place in need of paint and repair. Definitely declined from it's prime.

Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. TV was new (though we didn't actually use it). Staff on check in and out was very friendly.

Not having a breakfast option on-site was disappointing.

The property was OK, however, a little dated. The on-site restaurant was quite good for dinner The bed was comfortable.

Shower didn't have enough pressure. Coffee microwave area was too low, nothing was countertop height. Things on coffee table, too low. Not enough electrical outlets. Not enough hooks in bathroom. Big window in bathroom was weird. Back door led to rear area which was unsweetened and dirty. Windows were hard to use. Not enough counter space in bathroom. Pillows were too soft.

Beds, room overall. Natural ventilation was very good. AC was good.

The restaurant deck the farm house atrium and the closed pool all are in desperate need of a reno. Bed too small.

The mattress on the pull out couch could be replaced. It’s getting a bit thin.

We had a room upgrade as we had asked for a main floor and when we got there, they tried to give us a second floor room. We appreciated that and our room was perfect.

Thin walls/floor, could hear other people talking in rooms beside us and their was a wedding on the resort with loud music. Also wifi barley worked but the hotel staff did warn us about that.

Carpets not desirable and washrooms need updating.

Liked the vacation location. Close to many other attraction and restaurants. But carpeting in rooms and hallways not very clean. Washrooms need updating.

It’s a very old resort that needs much more love and renovations. We payed a big amount of money for a little room with no wifi and bad coffee. No breakfast included… It should be considering the price we payed. I heard there’s a new owner that has big plans for this resort, I hope they use fully the potential this site has… They need to replace the old musty wood outside, repaint it. The overall look is TOO vintage.. It’s not being well taken care of.

The private beach is beautiful. Housekeeping was good. The location has potential. The beds are comfy. It’s good if you are planning to stay for a short period of time and not spend your days at the resort.

Facilities seem run down. The rooms are adequate with an quaint feel. Air conditioning is a window model.

The beach is perfect for all ages. Water is shallow and sandy bottom once you get past the shore. Bring a floaty and your own beach chairs. Loungers are first come, first serve. The restaurant has a great menu and was delicious. Alcohol is priced high.

Internet connection is very poor. The real issue is food. No café, no convenience store, nowhere to buy food for a breakfast. Have to bring it with you or drive to Picton 15 minutes to Metro or No Frills (very few restaurants in the morning there). The only restaurant in the premises requires reservation, open from lunch to dinner. The buildings, gazebos, etc. - paint is faded, dull. Fresh painting could definitely help.

The stuff is very attentive and helpful. The room was big, clean, everything was working except the microwave, but it was replaced right away. The beach is very nice.
