Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaGround Level not in Vieux Ville (our original Les Lofts was; $340+ LESS Expensive, too! for same 5 days/4 nights not enough towel hooks/hangers no wardrobe or Closet but plenty of Space first floor level neighbours across from street constantly smoking (i know - we can’t control neighbours) basic kitchen no laundry detergent no paper towels no personalized listing of “fast facts for the neighbourhood, restaurants, Rx, shops, how to use the public transit , parking, hospitals, attractions, etc) no storage space no instructions on How To’s: Tv, Blue Tooth Radio, Washer/Dryer tech center coffee maker extras like tea,, coffee, sugar, etc
Error of Communication between Booking.com and our Credit Card canceled our Original Reservation (July 2023) which canceled our reservation so late to “Rebook” cost is dearly $340+ extra. Still Bitter about this. But we did get a Loft during a Busy, Packed weekend (why we booked Six months in advance, hello?) Maybe not Les Lofts fault but “the feeling@ stats with me so much probably will never book with Booking.com ever again. Since it’s Big Business and Algorithm i wouldn’t be able to change this so… what I liked about the property really informed the above feeling as my priority

AustraliaThe sheer curtains in the loungeroom were a bit annoying as it felt like people could see in so easily at night and the $300 security deposit seems like a lot.
This place was excellent. Very clean, modern and comfortable. Had a dishwasher, washer and dryer, huge bathroom, wonderful shower and literally the largest bed we've ever seen. The location is about a 15 minute uphill walk to the old town but its an easy enough walk to do and the walk to the train station is 20 minutes on a flat path so that's nice too.

CanadaHad issues with the door. I had to have someone come over to show me that you had to do a "Pull-Push" technique on the door. She mentioned that they were making up stickers to be placed on the doors to explain this.

United KingdomExpensive but Quebec City seems to be! Could have done with a bolt across the door as it’s straight into the road.
Great, big space. Nicely designed. Some reviews mention the entrance being on a side street but we didn’t find it to be a problem.

United States of AmericaBeing across from a parade of trash bins.
A stunning loft with a complete kitchen and washer dryer! Beautiful minimal furniture and a wonderful mattress with quality linens. One block away from a grocery store and various restaurants and pubs. #80 bus to airport is right around the corner. Other city buses within a very short walking distance.

CanadaI had trouble adjusting the temperature. There is no parking on site and that became an issue for me. The surrounding area is pretty rough with people living on the street. Several people asking for spare change, but they don’t persist once you say no.
It was spacious and very nice and modern

ItalyThere was a party in the loft next door (Also a Loft de la Fabrique). We couldn't sleep all night, despite the advertised "no party policy" and "sound-proof" rooms. We called customer service and they tried to call the other renters but nothing changed. No other actions were taken to enforce their policy. When we contacted them by email and informed them we would leave a bad review, they informed us the would delete the bad review.
It looked pretty but our experience was terrible

Canada- Bad/unsafe location: the door to each unit is right off an alley with a view of a row of big garbage bins right across from the main window (bins for the whole block it seems and the garbage truck stops there early in the morning to unload them all. Super noisy.) and a derelict housing unit across the street/alley. - The nearest liquor and grocery store around the corner is fully divided by clear, thick plastic walls so customers can not touch anything. You need to ask the person working for each item. This wasn't just a covid partition. Obviously, they've had a lot of theft and sketchy customers . - Poor privacy. Because the units are right on the alley and the sidewalks are narrow, anyone walking past is right at the main window looking in. We kept the curtains shut the whole time. - Dirty street just outside the door with garbage spilling out from the bins across the alley - Lots of homeless people on the street (didn't feel safe walking at night) - Poor communication. Difficult to get straight/consistent information when calling Les Lofts. Not sure if the Fabriques units are new to their staff but a few didn't seem to even know about them. (Note: there are only 2 Fabrique units (LF105 & 106) that are basically part of their Dorchester building but off the back alley. - Zero communication to let us know a window washer would be coming one morning. - Terrible map and instructions for where to park. Again, very poor communication from Les Lofts when we called for support or information. - NO closet or drawers in either unit (our friends rented the one next door) to unpack your clothing. And only 3-4 small hooks on the wall of the bedroom. Not sure where they expect guests to put their clothes but very poor planning. - NO bedroom door or windows (a blackout drape separates the "bedroom" from the rest of the apartment) so if one person wants to watch TV, listen to music, do dishes, etc.
- Spacious apartment - Decent furniture - Separate street entrance to the individual units - Some great restaurants, cafes and patisseries near by - Air conditioning, wifi and appliances all worked - Nice to have in suite laundry (but they don't provide an iron or ironing board and don't seem to know what those items are when we called to ask. We had to walk over to the Dorchester, ask a housekeeping member who didn't have a clue what we meant, and then a call to a manager who told us both units should have them BUT they did not. Frustrating. )
