Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe outdoor stairs used to reach the room are serviceable, but a bit on the shabby side. Not a major problem.
Location and quality of room. Also really liked the woman who checked us in and out. She's a great representative of the motel and of Lennoxville.

Big room, comfortable beds. Shower was hot and powerful. Didn't use the kitchen facilities but everything was there to cook a meal. Room was clean and warm. Very little to no noise from the outside. Check-in was easy and very friendly. Would recommend to any Gaiter Parents visiting their uni kid.

CanadaThe bed was a wee bit soft, but that's a personal preference 🙂.
A lovely spot to stay on our way back to Ottawa. Loved the garden and it was like a secret hideaway in Lennoxville. Very clean and the room had everything we needed. Could have stayed there for longer than one night, definitely recommend.

United States of AmericaFYI - not complaints, but suggestions to the traveler: It was hard to find the motel (it was literally a dark and stormy night when we checked in). Waze kept sending us to Rue College for a non-existent entrance. The entrance really is on Rue Queen, but the motel is tucked back off the street, Enter at the parking lot for "Valentine" (hamburgers, chicken, fries), then keep going back through the that parking lot and you will find the motel in the back, well off the street. Because this is an older hotel, there are very few electrical outlets and none near the 2nd bed. We brought an extension cord and a USB power outlet tower (for 4 USB devices) and it was fine.
The room was SPOTLESSLY CLEAN. The location was very convenient. The owner was very helpful and nice - and she was very clear she expected us to be quiet after 10pm, which was great, because we like it quiet too. The kitchenette was a requirement for us, and there is a grocery store very close to the motel. We were happy to find that the shower had good water pressure. I was traveling with my adult daughters and we felt safe and comfortable here. Although it was a short trip, it was very nice. We will stay here again.

CanadaThe bed was a little old and small. I would prefer a queen bed instead of a double int the room.
Very cute for a motel. Family run so you feel more like staying at your aunts house. The one double bed unit was ver spacious with a full kitchen. Very clean. Old school motel feel. I would stay again.

CanadaThe room is very outdated - except the bathroom, which has been renovated - but it is clean, comfortable and reasonably quiet. Because of it’s location, you’re going to hear some noise from the street but it was definitely not a major issue.
Loved the location - right at the lights in town, beside the Lion. Very pleasant owner and the room was immaculate. I was surprised to find there was a kitchenette (two burner stove top, fridge, pots/pans, toaster, kettle, dishes…) - I wasn’t expecting that but it was great. We ended up buying a few groceries and spent much less on meals than expected. The pool looked like a great place to spend time, but it was too cool out to swim when we were there :-( It’s not five star accommodation, but it is good value for your money.
