This was the bad side of our downtown location as our van was broken into during the night. The hotel might want to warn guests about this. Check in was fine though I had the sense they were understaffed.

Lovely location on the Otonabee River close to the footbridge. Although our room faced the busy George St corridor the soundproofing was excellent. Bed comfortable. The room was typical Holiday Inn but still well appointed with sufficient outlets and convenient sink counter in bathroom. Extremely clean - housekeeping should be commended. They were accommodating with early check in.

No heads up about the breakfast. $60 for three for what would have been toast and coffee. Buffet only no other option. Wall between the next-door washroom must’ve been very thin. Could hear everything.

This was our 2nd year doing this, 1st year the room beside restaurant was set up with table and chairs for kids and parents to hang out and play. This year was just tables. Wasn't until we asked staff for assistance that it was accommodated.

The March break program was great for the kids. Kids eat free.

We were told after we paid about the pool not working, So wasn’t happy considering that’s why we chose that hotel. And we also were told there was free breakfast to find out it was $20 per person.

People staying were very loud. Kids hockey team families. Letting doors slam lots. Loud in halls. Disrespectful loud and took over pool area. Had a good 20 kids age 12-13 in hot tub . Garbage around. No staff watching. Parents didn’t care.

Pulling 200 dollars extra off my credit card even though they have my card for security. Charging 10 bucks per day plus taxes for parking. Very loud neighbors both nights with no response at all. No extra blankets or pillows.

A lot of hockey families who let their children run in the halls until the early morning hours so it was quite noisy, unfortunately. The cleaning staff brought in fresh towels but did not vacuum and left bits of chips/dirt on our floor.

Good location close to downtown but easy access to rest of city also. There have been some renovations.

The hockey teams, I love hockey and kids. However, the noise and playing in the halls day and night were ridiculous. Some of the parents and children need to have more respect for other guests. The hotel needs to remind them that there are other guests in the hotel.

The hotel didn’t have any blankets for the crib. We requested an extra blanket and they had none. We had to use towels as blankets for our infant. The waitress at breakfast was rude and argued with us about whether we really needed a baby chair (we did), seemed reluctant to give me gluten-free toast, and then overcharged us trying to convince me that the price for breakfast quoted in my reservation didn’t apply. We had the cost refunded at reception.

The beds were comfortable. The hotel provided a crib for our infant.

Room was adequate, has a few minor issues, not perfect by any means. The shower left a lot to be desired. Not alot of value for the money especially if you really only need the bed. No breakfast included, although restaurant on-site and some right across the street.

Location was good. Beds were comfortable and pillows were great. Has an awesome pool but we didn't have time to use and great water views if you book that side of hotel. Wish I had brought my fishing gear!

The floor in my room was very dirty. The bathroom was very small and shabby. There were many marks on the walls of the room. There were no towels in my room until I had to ask for them, and even then the staff didn't seem apologetic about it. Breakfast was poor quality food and poor service.

It is a good location if you need to be in the Peterborough area. Lots of nice places can be reached from here in the lakes area. Pleasant setting by the river. The attached restaurant had nice food and service.

our toilet was not working and we had to call many times to finally have someone come and fix it. Also i never recieved my receipt. I was told that i would recieve 50% off of our first night, and want to have confirmation that my 200$ deposit was given back to me. It is still showing as pending on my credit card
