Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Our room had a noisy pipe caused by the under floor heating in the room above. It took a couple of days to get it fixed.
It’s central location and ski in - ski out access.

The location was truly ski-in/ski-out and the ski and boot storage area was convenient and safe. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hot-tub, sauna and steam room were fabulous!

The master bedroon with the king bed seemed to have been converted from a balcony. The heat it the room was with a little heater that was either on or off. When off it was a chilly room and when it was on it was a bit warm for sleeping.
The location of the room was excellent. We also liked the kitchenette. We used the hot tub, steam room and sauna. They wer in the next buiilding over but that was not too inconvenient.

It would have been nice to use the hot tub at 7 a.m., or a little later at night. Checking out before 10 also forced me to limit some options on what I could enjoy.
The location of my room was everything. I could get to the ski lifts and public houses really easily. It’s great to be right in the middle of the good stuff.

One minor complaint was that the hot tub was in the other building, necessitating a very short walk outdoors from my room.
Large room, well appointed bathroom, and it’s in the middle of the ski-thru village.

Had to walk outside to get to the spa/hot tub which was in a different building. The pillows were very uncomfortable.
Location was perfect, right in the middle of the village. Kitchenette was just right.

Having to go done stairs (without falling down) in the middle of the night - at least 2 times to use the loo; a scary experience when trying not to wake up others. When booking I naturally thought there a loo upstairs too. Regrettably, although space for a wardrobe upstairs, there was no hanging space. I also kept hitting my head (when getting in and out of bed) on the low slanting ceiling.
The staff were excellent in manner and their helpfulness. The location was superb.

Coffee pot wasn’t working properly- didn’t seem to drip effectively. A few more bath towels would of been nice and a microwave to heat up my leftovers.
Excellent location, staff were super helpful and professional. The sauna, steam-room was a treat. Beds were comfortable and rooms were quiet and cozy.

Noise from hall easily heard in room.
The location is great. Easy to ski down to the lift. Underground parking is available for an extra fee.

Coffee in the rooms is absolutely disgusting 🫣. Parking under ground is very tight. There was no mention of a hot tub or sauna room.

Overall, my stay was enjoyable, but I did notice some areas that could benefit from more thorough dusting. As a former professional cleaner, I have an eye for detail, and I believe a bit more attention to dusting would elevate the cleanliness even further.
Absolutely fantastic experience every time I stay at this hotel. The reception is always welcoming, and the location couldn't be better. A definite go-to for a memorable weekend getaway.

I originally booked for 4 and when booking in explained there would only be 3. And yet when we got to our room later that night there were only towels for 2. Also, in the yellow pamphlet I was given when returning that night (as we did not go to our room when we checked in) the invoice with the info was for someone else in a different room so the room number listed was not our room. Frustrating. 😢
