Unfortunately there are noticeable areas now which require upgrading. This was mostly noticeable in the pool/whirlpool areas, and I feel the windows on rooms facing the city could be replaced as it was quite noisy overnight.

The hotel oozes charm, and is in such a great location. The Harvest Room breakfast was delicious.

Room was large and had a view of the river. The linens were lovely, bed was super comfortable. a bed and dish were supplied for our dog, staff was friendly, check in and check out was easy, excellent location

The facility is starting to show its age, needs a general clean-up and an update.

The staff were amazing, from the valet staff to the servers in the bar/restaurant, to the room attendant. They made our stay!

Lots of stains on chairs, curtains etc in the rooms. Kind of expensive, parking could be better.

Beautiful place! Loved the water, the AC, the bed was comfy, valet, the antiques of it are beautiful. The coffee was good.

Had made plans to have champagne and chocolates in the room for my wife's birthday and it was not there when we arrived. Once brought to their attention they apologized and offered to bring the champagne and chocolates up to the room but it was too late as the moment passed for me. They did bring up the chocolates and a glass of champagne each with a card. I appreciated the gesture but was a little disappointed that they had forgotten has I had even called to confirm it would be there

No real lobby or place to sit besides the drink lounge. The decor and furniture is old and tired but the bed was comfortable. There were no magazines in the room that typical hotels provide for tourists to find info about the city. Location was not near any shopping although it was close to the venue we attended for a talk.

We had nice view, staff upgraded us for free at this charming old property and staff were lovely. It was close to the venue we attended. The room was larger than typical rooms at Fairmonts. our room was quiet.

Room need ed a little car . Bathroom paint trim and fix wall paper under the sink. Clean under TV, bar , clothes storage cabinet.

Staff . The brunch was very good and the attention we had from the chef in regard to allergies was very much appreciated. The longe was vey accommodating in allowing our family to be together at numerous times throughout the whole weekend. The whole staff from dining room to lounge and valets were exceptional. Thanks to all of them. It allowed our family from Chicago, Victoria and Alberta to celebrate Easter together.

The television remote in room 500 was slow and glitchy but that’s our only real complaint and it’s minor. I’m sure a change of batteries would have done the trick :)

- The heritage building is beautifully preserved, in keeping with its original charm whilst not looking outdated. - The in room dining food could be made with more care BUT the lady who served it named Christina is PHENOMENAL and was quick to make right any issues I had. Having Christina come fo the door brought such a smile to my face and to my daughter, to whom she brought some delicious chocolate covered strawberries. Please recognize Christina for her kindness and gentle spirit. She is a GEM and you’re very fortunate to have her on your team. - The pool is AMAZING with its ambient music, colour changing lights and WARM, clean water. This hotel pool far exceeds any I’ve been to. I want to give a very special thank you to the pool attendant whose name escapes me, but she is a very lovely young lady who gifted my daughter something very special, which is deeply appreciated. - The location is perfect for strolling the river side or downtown, with everything you need within walking distance - The communication throughout our stay was exceptional, with the option to make requests via text message.
