Our reception was very poor .We were given a room which overlooked a rooftop.We asked to change rooms to get a view of the lake and indicated that we would pay any extras. However, one of the employees ,a senior one at that, was extremely rude.That left a very bad taste even though later a room change was effected . Front desk services could be improved upon as no one took any pains to ensure that guests were comfortable and made au fait with the services available. There is no real hotel restaurant as what was there seems to close depending on the traffic. We could not get dinner when we went down about 8p.m . We were told we could buy drinks but not a meal as the kitchen had already closed. Breakfast was pretty basic but adequate .However, too many plastic utensils were used .

Location was ideal close to the lakeshore parks and an interesting town within walking distance. The room was very clean and comfortable

TV reception is very poor.

Hotel was close to the GO train station (5-minute bus or taxi ride), beside the lake, and right downtown for what we needed. Room was clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast had many choices. Very friendly and helpful staff at reception.

Came for the eclipse. Loved the location, the city has a surprising amount of things to do. Hotel was Clean, great pool, friendly staff. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Rooms didn't have thermostat to adjust temperature. No in-room safe.

The rooms are a bit outdated or just need a refresh. An inroom safe would be good with s TV that allows for Netflix login. Besides that, the breakfast was great, the staff friendly and professional and the location superb.

The phone service needs work. “ This customer is not taking calls at the moment” is not appropriate for a hotel.

. This hotel only uses MAGNETIC strip, which, of course,most modern cards have switched off to prevent card skimming fraud. Breakfast : Frankly, I have eaten better on a bucket airline. Awful choice, lukewarm, definitely substandard served on paper plates with, plastic low quality cutlery. Rather sums the hotel up, all show but underneath just about OK. All in all, I would list this hotel. NOT RECOMMENDED. If you want room only its OK otherwise choose somewhere else.

Sadly tired ...25.00 a day for a dog..we were 5 days..an extra 125.00 plus tax...for a little extra clean at the end...25.00 a day to park at the hotel you have paid....x 5 days. 125.00 plus taxes...after 5 days. An extra almost 300.00...for nothing really..and not a cheap hotel... In the basement dog friendly room..across from the pool..loud ..floor repairs with duct tape in lots of locations...broken blind..we asked about it..nothing.... stained carpet....not a good dollar value.. at off season prices still not a great deal

Surprisingly scratchy towels; sometimes housekeeping came too early and I couldn't request things like extra toilet paper because I was still in PJs or the shower

One downside is the noise from the club that’s part of the building. We were on floor 3 facing the club and the music pumped til late in the evening.

The location was perfect for us. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. And the hotel was clean and comfortable and a terrific value. As a celiac, I also very much appreciated the fact that they had gluten free options available for breakfast. They even made an effort to provide a separate toaster for the gluten-free bread! That’s amazing!
