Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaMentioned above.
It’s hard to evaluate the location. It is half a block from the station, and you might like that. I did not like the shabbiness of the neighborhood, though the barbershop next to the hotel gave me a great haircut. It is only three or four blocks to Quai Mont Blanc, the elegant view of the river and the Jet d’eau from the majestic row of five-star hotels. Have a drink on the terrace of one of them and spend your time gazing. It is a walk more than twice as long and up a fierce succession of stairs to get to the Old City, which is nice, but not so quaint or memorable as that of Basel or Zurich. The price is good —for Geneva: $165. a night for a single or small double with refrigerator. The day manager was handy; problems solved and things fixed as soon as reported. The hot water was abundant and fast, the Wi-Fi perfectly adequate. The whole city is smaller than you might expect. The good restaurants are not around the hotel, but on the quai, expensive and excellent, or up in the Old City with more character and less perfection for fewer francs.

PhilippinesThere was no hair conditioner and lotion in the toiletry(maybe i should have asked).
There is FREE coffee, tea and water near the entrance of the hotel which is a welcoming sight to all travellers. The location to the Cornavin train station is not bad, you need to walk a bit but not too far. The transport card to move around Geneva is useful to tourist but we had a hard time using it bec we don't know which ones to take.

United KingdomThe coffee area in the entrance is a great facility but the machine ran out of milk on the Saturday evening and it was unable to be refilled until Sunday morning.
Spotlessly clean, great location, an easy walk from the railway station and bus station. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Staff members were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine with a good range of items.

Saudi ArabiaThe heating may be turned down early in the morning, and the cleaning employee comes early in the morning to clean. This may cause inconvenience for those who sleep until 12p.m.
I liked the cleanliness of the room, the heating in the rooms, the cleanliness of the bathroom, the wonderful treatment of the reception staff, the services provided by public transportation cards, the mini cafe at the reception, and the location of the hotel next to the restaurant Saj Eat &La Veranda, Restaurant Genève And a cafe Boréal Coffee Shop.

United KingdomMattress was firmer than I like, other than that there is nothing to not like about the hotel and its location.
Location is great, I have stayed here a few times before, its my go to hotel in Geneva. The room was a good size for a weekend trip. Bed was a little hard but most European mattresses are! Facilities were good in the room and the hotel. I did not take breakfast at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThe breakfast wasn’t so great if you’re gluten intolerant. A better selection of drinks, even to purchase, and maybe a snack machine as we arrived at 10pm and no supermarkets/cafes were still open. It could have been more clear that the attic rooms didn’t have aircon (and were boiling even when 5C outside!)
The staff were very helpful, the dining space and access to hot drinks was superb. Outside terrace. The little fitness room was useful. Luggage storage.

TThis is very nice place in the center of Geneva just near the lake. It is very easy to get to the hotel from airport using train or bus. Breakfast is only "cold", but very varied. The stuff is very helpfull.

SwitzerlandMost of the tv channels were not working, and the setup was horrible, you had to zap through so many channels to find one that works. It was almost too warm in the room.
Very centrally located, 2mins from the main station, 5mins from the lake, lots of restaurants around. Water kettle with tea nad coffee. Free coffee and tea station downstairs in the lobby with lots of tables where you can work with your laptop. Spacious room. Comfy bed. Nice desk.

United KingdomNo croissants or bread available at breakfast by 9.00 am on one morning and little or no interest shown by the waitress when asked about it. Other than black coffee, the advertised free hot drinks all day were not available at any time except at breakfast. ‘No milk’ was the response from Reception. Unable to use TV due to ‘No Signal’ display on the screen.

United KingdomI didn't sleep very well during my stay as some of the hotel guests were very noisy. Lots of banging, talking and loud music could be heard from my room at all hours of the night and early morning. Breakfast was nice. However, more hot food options (other than boiled eggs and toast) would have been welcomed.
The room itself was lovely, very clean, comfortable bedding and plenty of storage space. Great location, very easy to access the bus/trams/trains, with many restaurants (of all varieties) near by. All staff (reception/cafe/cleaning) were super friendly and helpful 24/7.
