The view was great, though the window is a little bit dirty and made it bad. The interior decoration is also quite amazing!

The reception area is a bit crowded during checkin hour and the swimming pool is always packed with outsiders , not exclusive to hotel guests

Staff was so-so - the doormen were great. The check-in counter didn't really help when we asked about nearby restaurants and activities (only told us where to go within the building), room service brought the wrong things late and ended up inflating the prices on us by ca. 70%. + Shower leaked across the bathroom.

There are so many corporate companies staying and having seminar in the hotel, make the traffic in hotel so busy and not comfortable. The restaurants in the hotel are not good in the interior and quality of foods,

The location is strategic and room is just fine nothing special. But it was far away the standard of hotel as 2002 when it was just opened.

It's a bit of a shame that the metro is a bit of a walk away and you have to use the foot bridges to get there. In rainy weather it is moderately pleasant. The other side, a little less positive, is the standardized side, but at least you are sure to find the expected comfort. This is the second time I've been there and probably not the last.

The location is really great and the view from the bedroom amazing. I loved the breakfast which is really suitable and very varied and the dining room offers a pleasant view in the morning. In the same tower, you also have access to the bar which is located on the top floors and in the evening, you can treat yourself to a pleasant moment and contemplate Shanghai by night. the gym is well equipped and the sauna gave me a very pleasant break.

Check-in and check-out could have been smoother. It would have been nice if someone indicated that there was a queue for check-in and not just a group of people standing around. Check-out can be done by simply returning the room keys rather than queuing, but that wasn’t obvious. The info on the dining options spoke about the ambiance of the location rather than telling us what food was actually available. On the first night I felt we weren’t going to get any food until we saught help. We did get a booking for the buffet on the second night, but it was an experience I wouldn’t repeat again. The buffet is quite honestly a bit limited and boring. The choice isn’t exciting. The hot food in many cases was hot when it was cooked but hasn’t been kept hot since then, we were there at the start at 5:30 and the food was cool to lukewarm. I dined in this hotel many times about 10 years ago, the kitchens would have been embarrassed by the way things are being served now.

There is a lot that is good about this hotel. The location is excellent and the facilities are pretty good. Staff are helpful when you approach them and persist in seeking help, but they don’t go out of their way to help unless you really ask. The rooms are nice and big and the gym/pool are very good.

The decoration is aging, renovation is in need. Breakfast is to be improved, overall below 5 star level, quality of coffee is unacceptable, the view of restaurant is great though.

Exellent location, great view to the CBD area of Shanghai- Lujiazui. Walking distance to Shanghai Center and Financial Center. The staff were polite and helpful. Overall value of money is quite good with this location.
