The house is incredibly clean. When you enter the house, a very hygienic smell welcomes you. Pillows are immaculate. The kitchen sparkles. Upon arrival we were assigned a different (larger) apartment which was located a few minutes walk from Old Town Square. The apartment was recently renovated and covered all our needs for a weekend in Prague.

The kitchen wasn’t very functional. The shelves in the small fridge were broken, there were not enough dishes for four people (three big plates, no coffee cups-yet three saucers, two small plates etc.). Also it would have been nice to have bedside lamps and nightstands to place cell phones on, etc.

The location was excellent and close to the main square and the Jewish quarter. It was also a quick walk to the bridges and points beyond. Tram and Metro stops were close by too. The old building was very pretty, felt safe and the apartment itself was plenty spacious for 4 of us. It had beautiful windows, high ceilings and a bank of pretty, old windows.

The address advertised was in Karlova street, but the apartment was in Zatecka street. It wasn't location which I have chosen. This company has multiple apartments and they only advertise their best address in Karlova street. All their apartment are nearby, but be aware, the apartment you will be given will not be what you've seen in the listing.

Large apartment in a great location, on the cobblestone road that is between the Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. On the 2nd floor (called the 1st floor). Wide window ledges are nice for people-watching while sitting with your coffee or tea. Quiet at night due to double windows. 3 large bedrooms with big beds and couches. Large stocked kitchen. Separate toilet room and bathroom. Has a clothes washing machine.

For short term rentals it should provide toiletries, tissues and washing up liquid. There was no plug for the kitchen sink.

1. Advertised as 2 bedroom appartment which it is not. This has been stated in previous reviews but owners have chosen to continue to misrepresent the offering. 2. There are a lot of comments about people being "fined" for eating "inappropriate" food on the premises. From the reviews it appears that the building is heritige listed. There is one sign up about not eating hamburgers and another sign which you may or may not see mentioning other foods in the common areas. None of this was mentioned on website or in the rules of the appartments. Other people noted that their kitchen bin had been gone through and were fined for eating certain types of food in the appartment. 3. Others noted that they were fined incorrectly for damage that was not done. We did not have a problem but noted lack of notification about point 2 and misrepresenting the basic unit configuration.

the 4th floor was ridiculous I had my 88 year old mother who has trouble with stairs. The unit was very clean, not enough toilet paper for 4 nights. The water kettle had debris in it. It needed paper towels or something to clean your hands other than bath towels. NO view. the directions to get to the unit were very bad. I had to knock on a few doors to find our unit. NOT clear on directions. had to drop key at another location.

The extensive high noise level from underneath the apartment, there was an organised Rave from 7am to 11pm underneath us, and also a pub that had loud music all night.

Bed configuration wasn’t what we paid for, we needed twin beds for our daughter and her friend so the maintenance man set another temporary single but we were told it was only suitable for a child so no use to us. not all beds had linen on them, the bedding protectors were stained to, beds were not comfortable they were like sleeping on boards again not as described. The toilet was too close to the water tank making going to the toilet an uncomfortable experience if you’re tall. shower was leaking on floor of flat so unusable, shower over bath was available but no way of holding your self safely to stop slipping like a handle, not enough towels for a party of six staying 5 days 1 each and nowhere to dry them. Under equipped no supplies of cleaning equipment such as soft brush or dishcloth to wipe and clean kitchen and bathroom. Coffee maker had no filters no bin bags, no washing powder for machine. Totally just not usable, if they don’t want to supply these basics to use facilities at least offer a starter pack at an additional cost so you don’t have to spend a fortune buying just essentials on arrival. Ironing board was broken so we couldn’t use it. One of our daughters carried her ice cream through the hallway to the flat and we were sent an email advising us if this happened again we would be charged a fine of 20 euros, she was only carrying it through, but this left us feeling as though we were being spied on every time we left the flat. There was no notice on booking that the noise levels would be such that we would not be able to sleep. Heating controls did not work so you had to open windows but being where it was there was loud noise until 5 in the morning from revellers, taxis and businesses. No fire safety equipment in the flat such as a fire blanket for the kitchen and no notices to tell you best fire exits. No carbon monoxide detector and boiler was in toilet a very small room.

These apartments are handled by a management company. Unfortunately we did not get the apartment we had booked. We were not even informed of this. When we picked up the key. We were told that it simply has a different name of address, as if it had two names. When we arrived, we realised that it was not the apartment we had booked, as there was no elevator. We needed to call the company to inform them and we had to pay again for another Uber to take us to another apartment that they later found for us. We lost precious time in Prague, waiting around and calling their service. Only partial elevator, when we had booked an apartment with an elevator all the way, as one of our group members has issues with stairs. We were told we would get refunded for our troubles and for the extra uber that we paid. Neither the property or even booking.com compensated us for this. I would suggest double checking with the company that you are getting the apartment you paid for. We had paid up front and also given a 200 euro refundable deposit. I found it unacceptable and also believe booking.com should have at least given a voucher for any future bookings made through them, as a valid customer I don’t believe we were treated as such.

The location of the apartment that was found for us was also a central location. This is the only reason I am not giving this a lower grade.
