Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomCurtains in the rooms weren't very thick, let lots of light in early in the mornings and woke us up too early.
Good breakfast, location just a little bit off tourist central so quiet but easy to get places. Place had character and staff added extra touches - drink on arrival, brownie on checkout.

South AfricaWords fall short in describing the sheer magnificence of our stay at the Old Armoury. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an aura of tranquillity that surpassed all expectations. The decor is what made us reserve initially and it did not fall short of what was expected. I could not explain the sheer awe of how I felt walking the interior. The room was elegantly appointed with modern amenities and adorned with thoughtful touches that added a touch of warmth and comfort. Waking up to the gentle caress of the morning sun and the soothing sound of nature with the river was sheer Bliss. Breakfast was a "buffet" style each morning with all the classical favorites, as well as some Czech dishes each morning which was a nice change.

United Kingdomthere really is nothing to say. This hotel, management & staff, did an excellent job in making our stay as good as it was. It would be entirely churlish to suggest any improvements.
prior to check-in communication was excellent, check-in was quick & efficient. Room was lovely & well prepared with some nice touches. staff are very helpful & friendly. Hotel is warm, relaxed, clean & quiet. It is in a great location for visiting the Petrinske park, castle, Karluv most, old & new town. The breakfast is exceptional. The staff equally exceptional. Check-out was also smooth & efficient. We had a great stay & happy to recommend.

The breakfast was wonderful! Great choices and everything fresh and very clean. Lovely staff!

United KingdomThat there were not many vegan options for breakfast. It was great there were plant milk but there was one yogurt and this was not replaced. It would have been better if there were mushrooms, tomatoes or vegan sausages as hot food as there was nothing hot to eat that was vegan.
The bed was comfy and the room had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the location too because of how close it was to Charles Bridge, Petrin gardens (few mins walk to the funicular) and not far to walk to the Old Town.

United KingdomNothing, though there could be times of the year when air conditioning would be welcome
The location is ideal, across the river from the over-crowded old town, but within easy walking distance. Tha park beside it seemed to be used largely by local residents. The design is quirky with theatrical elements, such as suits of armour and historical decoration. For such a central location, the room was not overlooked, and there was no noise or traffic disruption, even with the window partly open.

PolandThe TV could have more channels and Netflix but you don't come to Prague to watch TV so it's a minor issue.
This hotel has everything to enjoy your perfect stay in the beautiful city of Prague. Nice and clean room with a huge and comfortable bed, great bathroom, mini bar, snack(additionally paid). The reception staff is very nice and very helpful. And last but not least, the breakfast is sooo great... You can eat whatever you dreamt of during the night and eat as much as you can. We will definitely be back!

United KingdomThe staff at this hotel speak excellent English and are more than happy to accommodate your needs. The room we stayed in was large with a super king bed and good sized bathroom. It was in a nice quiet area of the hotel with a nice view over the green outside and to the city beyond. The windows swing right open to allow for good ventilation. The breakfast is exceptional, with plenty of choices, including hot food, fruit, yoghurt, coffee, juices, and even a waffle maker! It is well-positioned for access to the city; it's a ten to fifteen minute walk to Charles Bridge and other tourist attractions. Upon check out we were given a little brownie each which was a nice touch and an excellent airport snack!
