Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room was not soundproof from the noise inside next room. Small children running around the room yelling at 10:30 pm. Plus, adults were very loud in their conversations, again late at night. After a long day of sightseeing, I wanted to go to sleep early, but couldn't because of their inconsideration!
Breakfast was sensational!

The hotel seems to be a destination for US young adults, who visit Munich predominantly with the ambition to dress in cheap lederhosen and spend their time drinking. Seeing staff helping some poor guy opening two 0.5L beer bottles in the morning hours, which he proceeds to drink alone in the lobby was not contributing to a feeling of comfort, personal security and morning ambience. Similar situation thing in the bar. Keeping serving already drunk people takes away a lot from the general mood and erodes the otherwise toned down and stylish bar.
I booked a short stay for my mother (senior, 80+) who was visiting. The staff was very friendly and service-minded and everything went well. She mentioned the breakfast a standout item and was very happy with the room comfort.

I didn’t like my room, the air didn’t circulate well and having the windows open was noisy. The bed pillows smelled of others, not fresh. I couldn’t tell if the bath towels were dirty or stained. The TV kept losing its volume. To much light-leak from devices and the door. The breakfast was good but the coffee didn’t put a smile on your face.
The hotel is located at a good spot between the train station and the pedestrian zone so you could get around easily on foot. Hot water came fast. Nice variety for breakfast.

The price of the breakfast was far too expensive for what it was. Although the breakfast was very taste and a big selection, it was not worth 26 euro per person. I did not like the shower. It was a bath/shower combination but too narrow at the shower side of the tub so when standing you were standing on the slightly sloping tub.
Comfy beds and breakfast was tasty and lots of choice. I liked the comfy chair in the room.

The fridge does not contain drinks. the street noise is a bit loud and disturbs your sleep. The neighborhoods are a little scary, being close to the central station
Location is perfect for travel in the city center. Also is good for walking to the breweries

The breakfast was pretty limited in comparison to similar hotels we stayed in. Also the restaurant and buffet area is too crowded when the hotel is full. Location can feel a bit dodgy at night.
Location is close to everything. Staff were helpful and kind.

There were some problems with leaking in the bathroom that we reported but were not fixed. The cleaners didnt always leave enough towels

The bed was not great at all, shower over the bath terrible and size of the bathroom way too small for a deluxe king size room.
Restaurant and bar were good and dark haired waitress with ponytail very friendly.
