The beds and pillows were unusually hard. Not only were we, as parents, complaining, but our children also felt uncomfortable sleeping. The hotel is clean and in a good location with friendly staff, but due to the quality of the beds, I would not book again.

House keeping staff was not there after evening. We had two sheets dirty and it was nightmare to get it. Some stopgaps measurement was taken but it was just ok to spend the night. Also hotel charges for the parking which should not be the case specific to value for money. Or there should be a nominal flat fee for the hotel guest. Also breakfast was not included in the pricing. This all makes it not a good value for money as one end up paying 200 Euro for a night

We had New Years eve table booked to celebrate my Birthday. The Manager was in charge of the reservation including our Menu and was supposed to be a beautiful evening until we arrived at the Bar just to find out she forgot our reservation. However we joined our New year event with guest. No offense, but i felt like i was joining some kind of nursing home Event it was not a big deal. What bothers me that night was paying a whooping sum of money (400 Euro) with a very disappointing Buffet. I could even hear some guest gossiping each other how bad the food was, so I'm not making this all up. I've been in many Hotels & Restaurants before but this was far the worst food I've ever experience in my entire life. But overall the room was very clean, the staff was friendly and they have a wide selection of Breakfast Buffet. I would not recommend to eat there. If you want excellent food then Dattlers Restaurant is my advice. The money is worth it!!!

We were very happy with our stay and would use the hotel again. It was unfortunate that only one lift was working for the duration of the stay. I was also surprised to find there were no spare sockets for charging devices.

The staff were very welcoming and very helpful when approached for advice. The room was bright, comfortable and spacious. The leisure facilities were a bonus during the stay.

It doesn't have a gym but that's fine, also the room doesn't have a safety box or at least I didn't fine it.

The location super great 👌 very strategic and cool for vacations. We will be definitely try to stay there again when we travel again to Freiburg. The personal super great as well as the room. In general this hotel was perfect for our visit.

It may have just been me, but I couldn't work out how to turn the bedside light on/off at night when the main light switch was turned off. Maybe I was just tired.

Excellent location in the city centre very close to transport connections and Freiburg Old Town. Very competent hotel reception staff and friendly and obliging bar staff. Cleanliness of room was very good. Easy to walk to and from, close to shops, cafes and bars/restaurants. Room had television and mini bar and drinks and food could be bought from machines in the hotel lobby out of hours. The breakfasts, which I had twice, can either be paid for the whole duration of your stay or on an individual basis. The breakfast costs nearly 25 Euro, but offers possibly the best selection I have ever encountered in any hotel and the quality is excellent. During my stay on the third floor, I found the hotel pleasingly quiet at night. Rooms were warm and clean and serviced daily.
