Couldnt find wifi connection in the backyard! However, wifi connectivity in the room was good.

Breakfast was served every morning sharp 7 am onwards. The lady would provide warm breads, cheese, jam etc and coffee/ tea! It is a perfect location. City centre is 5 minutes walk, Zugspite Mountain 10 minutes drive and Garmisch Gorge 7 mins drive. The bus stop is 2-3 minutes walk! Found the lady in charge pretty kind, soft spoken and helpful

There are tables near windows outside. Some guests smoke there. I think it has to be prohibited to smoke there. It was awful when this smoke got to my room.

The house is old and in need of a lot of little maintenance items such as caulking, painting, etc. Bathroom shower is in a bathtub that is a little awkward to get in and out of. Carpeting is clean but worn. Lighting poor in our room as some bulbs were out in our room.

Quiet location convenient to town and public transit. Reasonable price. It's a very old home run by a woman who serves the breakfast and does guest interaction such as check in and check out. For short stays, it's clean and rooms a nice size.

Haus Hollental doesn't accept credit cards, only cash or a type of German bank card. This is not a problem (it's easy to get cash from local banks) but just something to be aware of.

Room was great for what I needed: warm, comfortable, and simply but well furnished. Powerful and hot shower (a criteria of mine!). Breakfast was plentiful and tasted good too. Location is excellent; situated in a quiet side street, just a short stroll from Garmisch centre. You're also provided with a Guest Card which, as one of its benefits, allows you to use local buses free of charge.

The hotel and the rooms are very old German style building with a lot of Christian religious symbolic stuff. and ours room is quite dark due to light on the ceiling is old and not bright enough. No refrigerator or complimentary coffee neither water cooker. Also No Hair dryer. WLAN is ok, most of the time it works but sometimes it doesn’t.

Haus Höllental was clean, the atmosphere was peaceful and comfortable. We were especially delighted about the bavarian style furniture. The breakfast was quite satisfactory too.

Cash payment required, won’t accept card payment. The breakfast was lunch meats, bread, jam, a hard boiled egg, yogurt, coffee and juice. The beds were creaky and the walls thin.

Unfortunately my wife and I didn't have time for breakfast, but it looked like it would have been very good. The owner, a very nice lady, had made it appear very appealing. Perhaps next time. The location, the setting, the price and the welcoming atmosphere couldn't have been better. The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows especially. All in all a very pleasant experience.

The rooms are large and clean. The location is great, close to Garmisch center. Everybody was friendly. We enjoyed our stay here.

I got single room and had bathroom with it:) Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Lady who run the place kept everything clean. All You really need if you looking for place to rest between outdoor activities.

Room too small for price. Mini TV was standing in one of the bed side night tables - it was impossible to comfortably watch TV. Breakfast was very basic - every day the same small options. Extra 18€ tax was charged even though Booking.com said taxes were included. Owner said it was city tax.

Place was a bit too small, tea pot in the room would be very helpful.

Very warm, cozy and lovely place. Towels are super fresh, everything very clean, very comfi bed. Keller was available for snowboards.

Slow wifi connection

The bus station and city center is only 5min walk from the hotel. The environment was pleasant and welcoming. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy. Friendly staff :)
