Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Romania• Parts of the hotel are still under construction (May 2024) which meant there was noise during the day, a lot of dust and several power outages during the stay. • I was working from the hotel in one of the days of my stay and the WIFI wasn’t stable at all. I kept having to use my personal data which was very inconvenient. • I think having a mini fridge inside the room would be a nice addition • The cleanliness of the rooms could be better. Although the room was generally clean, I found strands of hair (not mine) on the bathroom floor and in the shower, which was off-putting.
• The hotel rooms are new and nice. They are small but cozy. • The bathroom is spacious. • The staff was super friendly and helpful. They tried their best to make everything fine for the guests. • The location is excellent, very close to the train station and a shop area

GermanyThe hotel is still in construction process (May 24), there were no “do not disturb” labels for the door, so the cleaning tried to enter 3-4 times when I was on the call
The hotel is completely new, the bed is very comfortable, the location is perfect, the room was sufficiently quiet, the staff was friendly. The best think I like - check out until 12:00, this was perfect

SwitzerlandThis is nitpicking because everything was 99% clean. But if you want to make it perfect, make sure you dust off the water bottle & wipe the key cards as well. Please also ask house keeping not to drop in before the guest has checked out if only one night was booked or provide a "do not disturb" sign to hang on the door.
I really liked the brand new room. It looks very nice and is comfortable. The room we had was right next to the street, but the windows are so soundproof that it didn't bother us. The bathroom is more spacious and better built than the Ibis. It is also cheaper than Ibis and I think it's better value for money. I especially liked the free lotion and the welcome drink & crisps. They also provided a small but nice free breakfast because the breakfast hall isn't fully built yet. I am looking forward to the completed hotel which will also include a coworking space and a gym. The staff is also very nice and helpful and available at the reception 24h and the hotel is reachable from the train station in under 5min. I also liked the option to chromecast to the tv, although it didn't work for me, but that is most likely an issue with my phone.

IsraelThe hotel is on the repairing works. There are building constructions in front of room's windows. They were obliged to inform the guests prior arrival. They charge 10 Euros for cleaning the room

United KingdomWe were not informed that the hotel was being renovated and the outside of our room full of scaffolding. No restaurant, no downstairs toilet, no breakfast. No gym. Very dusty. Workmen banging from early morning both outside and the room next door. Wireds hanging from ceiling. €10 to get room cleaned. Young / inexperienced staff on reception.
The newly updated room and bathroom. The coffee machine. The central location.

SwitzerlandCoworking wasn't available yet but will be as of May. So will get to use it next time
As a frequent business traveler, I never had a hotel tick all the boxes in Hannover. This hotel just opened, so it's super modern, chick, clean and packed with the latest tech (finally didn't have to stream Netflix on my phone after a long workday and could Chromecast it to a huge TV). But most exciting is that soon a co-working space will be available, making life even easier for business travelers where you can have a proper office set-up and don't have to take Teams calls in crowded cafés. Location and Service were also top!!
