Nothing. A great stay.

A lovely hotel in a quiet, calm, safe area of Hamburg. Our family room was brilliant, plenty of space. Very clean room with attention to detail. Breakfast was good, a great buffet with plenty of choices, fresh food, fruit and more. An honesty mini bar too which was great!

The interiors are quite old, and the corridors are noisy. The breakfast is not so good.

Everything was excellent! Location, room, building in vintage Dutch style... Stuff is very kind, view is perfect, you have everything you need. Main station is few minutes by walk, Alster lake too, place and street are quiet... Only best reviews! I recommend this hotel to everybody.

A small kettle in the room would be a plus !

I had a great short stay here, the room was cosy and clean, the bed was big and exceptionally comfortable. The hotel's team is very kind and helpful. I didn't take breakfast as I was having one in the cafes not far from the hotel, there is a mini-bar, i didn't use it either as I was doing my small shopping at the Dammtor station, but I think it is useful in case of emergency. I was also impressed by how good the plumbing facilities were although the space between the sink and the door is quite limited but it was not a dealbreaker for me. And for those who are easily disturbed by the sounds: well, it is not a modern building, so obviously you might hear your neighbour closing the door or people walking upstairs but honestly I cannot get how it can be dramatic. The street is very very quiet, there is hardly a car passing loudly next to the building and you can hear birds singing in the morning. It is quiet. Overall, cannot wait to come back and thank you for hosting ! Vielen dank !

Nothing was amiss.

The building has lots of beautiful character. Very modern in deco, and spacious room and bathroom. Great when traveling with a big group. Super comfy beds. The room had everything you need, and if anything is missing, the very friendly staff will organize it. The place was very clean!

We were told there was breakfast without any information about it costing extra. At the end of the stay we were surprised with a much larger bill because of overpriced breakfast.

Very thin doors and walls, you could hear people talking and coming home in the middle of the night. Hard beds, Wes ok for me but good to know for people who have problems with this.

I was in room 55 which was a long way from recepsion getting out from hotel via rezidencial entrance than changing floor to the room, must follow the GPS to get to room otherwise you may be lost and there are no proper signs. The Internet was terrible, you must go to the lobby to make any call via what's up.

- Room too small (for the price). - Bathroom without window: towels stayed wet! - Room easily caught the noise of someone showering in another room (therefore waking you up) - Room ventilation was difficult, humidity stayed inside. (doable in summer, but in winter ... )

Shower with the highest water pressure I ever had in a hotel. Also hot enough! (and even more!)

It’s very old building so prepare to bad sound isolation, I could hear literally everything around and what is happening in the hallway and it’s not nice experience on the holiday mornings! also there is no good air circulation. no air conditioning so it was hot without opened windows and cold with opened…(I traveled in April) bed is uncomfortable and for money which I paid I expected something with better quality well, they put me in some super small rooms which looks like a storage!
