We loved it all and can't think of anything negative.

This was our favourite hotel room (out of 10 places) on our trip. What a beautiful, historic place, great rooms, lots of interesting surprises and architectural features around the building, and all that in a fantastic location. We got upgraded to a large room with a huge bathroom and a bonus room! We LOVED the large room with high ceilings, two large windows looking out to the beautiful street/buildings of Bamberg. Wonderful breakfast, use of bikes, and other extras.

Nothing to fault

The location is superb, 1-2 mins from the Rathaus and absolute centre of beautiful old town. Excellent recommendations from reception for getting a smoked beer and a meal resulted in our one evening there being truly memorable. The hotel is not luxury but being very neat, having lovely touches, being comfortable and immaculately clean in the best location counts for far more than that.

Breakfast buffet was full at start of each morning, but food was not replaced as customers ate. As a result, choices were very limited during last part of breakfast dining. (this included regular coffee and scrambled eggs.)

Location was exceptional. Right in the middle of the alstadt, close to breweries and restaurants, and a 3-minute walk from the river. Room was large, bright and immaculate. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Basin is a joke. Only good for washing hands. There is a shelf on top. I don't believe anybody can wash their face wo hitting the plank. But I am flexible.

Fantastic location, comfortable beds, big room for 3. Host was so nice. Parking 10 minute walk but can pull up and unload in front of hotel and get key to private parking. Excellent breakfast.

This hotel was fantastic. It's a quick walk to great shopping, great restaurants, and all the historical sites. It was clean and comfortable, and after two weeks in many hotels in Germany, we found their staff to be refreshingly kind and concerned with our satisfaction. Great breakfast, too. Highly recommend.

Parking is about 100 m away in a underground lot. This was a little expensive at €19 per night but was cheap compared to large cities in the US. There was a cheaper option a little farther away but we chose the one close to the hotel.

We had a room that faces the inner courtyard which was very quiet. The room was nice and there was a spacious bathroom. The hotel manager was very accommodating and carried our luggage from the car which was parked in a lot nearby. The breakfast was wonderful. Everyone was very nice to us. The location is right in the old part of town and couldn’t be better.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Super location in the very center. surprisingly there were two adjacent room, perfect for family with two kids. Very comfortable, with charming interior, umbrellas to borrow (was rainy), good breakfast. There was not electric kettle in the room, though it was mentioned in the room description, but they brought it to us. Besides, there was a coffee machine downstairs. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
