As an American my expectations for customer service may may be biased but we felt that the staff came across in different. We booked a relaxation package which included a massage and access to the hotel spa. The spas hours were never mentioned and how the time our massages were booked wouldn't give us enough time to experience the spa. When mentioned to staff they tired giving us alternative options the following day but as we were leaving the next day the times suggested did not work. As this was a paid service, it would have been nice to receive a refund or a voucher to return on another day as we live in the area. During the evening water bottles were no longer available in the hotel bar.

The location is right off a cove with views of the ocean that were extremely peaceful. I enjoyed the evening entertainment that was suited for both children and adults.

The buffet was poor, the food wasn’t interesting, not much choice really, lots of desserts but not much else. Noisy children everywhere.

Could not use beach, access to sea was blocked with seaweed! Mosquitoes were a real nuisance Not enough staff on reception. Usually only 1 person Rooms needed maintenance work Our friends had a horrible sewerage smell in their room at times!

The hotel was quite empty and the food selection was not enough. Beach had seaweed. Air conditioner was not working good. Little bit like abandoned hotel. If you need to be alone in a quiet place it s for you.

Food was abundant but regular and unfortunately staff looked really busy and overloaded with work so we couldn't have the help we needed. they were a bit rude possibly due to overload of work

Mosquitoes and wifi service

The Hotel was fantastic with very beautiful view and seaside . Staff were great and so kind. There was two big problems: 1, wifi was disaster and 2, mosquitoes🦟🦟 . The quality of the foods were perfect and the staff in the kitchen also were so nice and friendly.as i said for big Hotel like this wifi is also so important for guests. They must solve this problem too.

The hair dryer in the room was not working, the spa by the pool was not working either, half of the machines in the gym are in an awful state, the spa is clearly outdated and did not seem to work either. The bar area is infested by mosquitos (thank you to other clients for sharing repellent on our first night). There was an awful smell by the pool on our last day when staff were preparing outdoor bars for San Joan. Last but not least, there's absolutely no security, kids coming from outside (not clients) were messing in the pool everyday, so much so that clients had to complain and there were then asked out.

The room was nice and clean, the location is fine too.

Most of the personel doesn't speak English. No car rental. Some staff are rude. The eye rolling of the bar staff is not acceptable.

Some of the facilities require renovation. Initially got the room facing the swimming pools pumps and filtering which was making significant noise in the night. After asking to change the room, staff was surprisingly “unaware” of the noisy side and gave us room two floors higher, however to the same side. They claim kids club availability, however our 8 year old child was not accepted to stay stating she is too old…!!! Come on Hotel, disappointing!

I did not like how crowded the restaurant was. I enjoy mealtime but felt we were rushing, it was so busy. We tried different times in the restaurant to see if this made any difference but it was busy all the time.

Loved the access to the beach. If you have children then there were activities for them.
