Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

A little more than one tea bag or coffee in the room would have been nice but these may have been available on request had I bothered to ask.
Lovely hotel, just off a main transport route but quiet & well situated for the old town with it'sbars & restaurants, the albacin & the path to the Alhambra Palace. Reception staff were really helpful & knowledgeable.

We loved the valet parking which is usually a pain in most old cities. Cathy at the front desk was super welcoming and so helpful. The location was perfect and we found a wonderful place for a lovely american style breakfast at Gran Cafe Bib-Rambla in that same named square.

Difficult to find as travelling by car because of the road restrictions in Granada. Although the hotel had given us excellent driving directions we still got lost! No complaints about the hotel though. We had pre booked valet parking & all went smoothly with that.
Central location. Very near lots of bars, restaurants & shopping. Close to bus stops & taxis. Bedroom & bathroom very clean. Lovely comfortable beds & good quality sheets etc. Big fluffy bath towels & good shower. Reception staff very helpful & informative.

A little pricier than I was expecting, but demand was high as it was Semana Santa.
Location was terrific - a quiet side street off Reyes Catolicos near La Plaza Nueva. Walking distance to the Alhambra, the Albaicin and numerous cafe/bars and restaurants. Room was small but comfortable. The first night was noisy due to proximity to the elevator, but they were happy to arrange for a much quieter room for our next two nights. Breakfast was adequate and in pleasant surroundings. All the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful.

To get there is a bit tricky by car. It took us four rounds to get to the hotel. To give them credit, they have sent me directions both by words and by map. But it is still not the easiest to find.
A nice cozy hotel. Helpful and cheerful staff. Central location.

The location is definitely a plus, it's in the center of Granada and everything is at walking distance. For the Alhambra we decided to take the bus as the stop is very close to the hotel. The room was very nice, the bath products are from Rituals (greatest brand ever), the beds were comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful, they could speak in English. Also we could leave our things after check-out so we could still enjoy Granada without our suitcases.

the staff (particularly Kathy) were amazing, friendly and helpful. They all went above and beyond. The room was lovely, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. plus my room had a bath which was a bonus for me. The location was perfect, It was close to lots of eateries and within walking distance of many attractions, yet in a 'relatively' quiet street.

Everything was great except for the internet. It was really spotty and the signal was bad in my room. Usually I wouldn't mind but since I work remotely, I needed decent wifi connection to get work done in the evenings which I was unable to do.

Nothing really negative, just points that can be improved. The room was a bit too hot, and we did not manage to AC. And there were two beds together. It would be better to have only a double bed in the rooms. Also, I would have liked to have a some place to put my toiletries in the bathroom.
The hotel is very clean, the room was perfect for one night, more than that I'd say it is a bit too small. Very clean place. The pillows were the best thing in my stay, they were excellent. Staff are also very friendly.
